    What's amazing is that this crown vic has the same paint peeling in the same spot as my car.

      Yeah, its a bit of a known issues with the panther platforms. It drives me crazy.

    More padding or 1/4" foam padding would have smoothed out the covering on the base, the white dacron or whatever isnt firm enough to take the creases and wrinkles out - the lid did turn out much nicer with more padding

      Lol! I was too lazy, it why I made a budget version. If I was going to half ass it, I definitely didn't want to spend a lot of money on it.
