I am a faithful believer that no art is perfect It is therefore that we must, as fighters; train our striking, punching, kick style and grappling to be really powerful in our preferred area because a prepared soldier is never defeated
Boxing develops the reflexes that every martial artist should possess, Karate gives you the robustness your body needs, Judo gives you Grappling and so on. The best thing is to bring out the strengths of each one, My respects and have a fantastic day!

Based on the movements in the kata, i would guess its the style "shotokan" and the kata is "heian yondan"
Also, i appreciate the flexibility of most karate practicers when it comes to high kicks. As of now i have 11 years of karate in this style and am supposed to get the black belt this summer, in August. Keep training hard and doing what you love.

Kumite is def my favourite part of Karate, though I still understand the importance of kata. You have to be the best martial arts influencer out there, no competition. 😃
