Thank you! I really appreciate hearing that. I love talking about smaller games whenever I can so it’s nice to know that people are interested in them. They do unfortunately seem to get ignored a lot of the time which is a shame. But it does make it extra special to find the hidden gems!
Great review. I am completely agree with you it was a big let down. I really like fmv games. Late shift and the complex was great, the nightbook and this was disappointing. You get a new follower.
Thank you so much! I really like them too. I just started Immortality after seeing its nominations at The Game Awards and it is really cool so far! I’m always keeping an eye out for new FMV’s
@@ellllyy I wanted to like this game too. But it was quite boring and after the cliffhanger, i was completely zoomed out, because the first part of the game became pointless. It never happened. And even the ending was bad. You have no chance to save your friend. They wanted this to became some mindfuck genius game. At least it was cheap because of the ps store discount
@@ellllyy i saw your channel has some review of the games i played, and the ones that are my wishlist. At least now i will know, if it worth to play. Keep up the good work.
Yeah I’ve tried to play as many as I could and always love talking about them! FMV games have so much potential so I hope they keep making them for a long time
honestly i feel like this might have worked better if they made this was not an fmv game and a straight up adventure game(there were moments where i really did feel like the classic looking for items to deal with puzzles would have worked perfectly or the idea of just making your character explore the rooms would have been better rather then watching the character wander through rooms almost aimlessly at times)
I just really enjoy making videos! That’s why I love shorter games like this so I can make a lot of them, but I don’t necessarily love reviewing. The longer videos/video essays are the ones I enjoy the most! Thank you for watching 🙂
*spoilers* Great video, I watched a playthrough of it and still can't understand how we went from ghost agnes to an underground organ market though?! Not sure if just me being big dumb but I could not follow the storyline at all, its like 2 dif stories stitched together or just me?!
I totally agree about it feeling like 2 different stories!! I think there’s a part of it that maybe I didn’t fully understand but I’m not sure. But hold up.. there was an underground organ market??? :o I remember going underground but maybe I’m forgetting something once that happened. I wish they would have had fun with the weirdness of it more instead of taking everything so seriously but oh well.
@@ellllyy well underground/black organ market as these people kill charlotte to harvest her organs? It was wild i thought "did i just space out for half hour and miss something" but I just couldn't grasp how we went from literally seeing ghosts, to a therapist unwinding that Kristina had abandoned her friend who was gonna be killed for her organs??
Was that what they were going to do with Charlotte?? I was honestly really confused at that point because I wasn’t sure what they were planning on doing with them. Harvesting organs is not what I would have ever expected. The entire story was just really strange and makes less and less sense the more I think about it.
if I am not mistaken the main character was just doing therapy in the form of hypnosis to mourn her dead friend and forgive herself because she considered herself responsible for her death, if I understood correctly the second story matches what really happened
Depending on choices you make you either get a ghost story or one involving organ harvesters. Also depending on your levels of acceptance and denial based on your choices will determine if you get the extra chapter where you find out your character was under hypnosis and what really happened. If you have a high denial level with low acceptance you don't get the extra chapter with the therapy hypnosis session. The denial endings skip the out of nowhere twist and have where you can save your friend.
I gotta agree, the two actors you mentioned were fine, but the rest range from meh to outright bad (the nerd guy is terrible). I like wales interactive but they really would be better served doing these games more like heavy rain or detroit . And they can do good fully fps games too as maid of sker was a damn fine horror game.
I really enjoyed Maid of Sker too! I would love if they started to go down that route or at least make a few more in that style. It would be nice if there was also some more blood in the game to compete with Wales interactive because it’s a really interesting niche in gaming.
That’s interesting. I played it on the Series X and did have problems with the audio being slightly de-synced at times but nothing other than that. But that sucks that it’s crashing for PC/PS4
@@ellllyy I thought it was my laptop, bought it on PS4 and it crashes just the same, every few decisions screen freezes and you can't do anything (rather than the blue screen crashes). Can't be my console and my laptop are both screwed, so has to be the game.
Dang that really sucks. Hopefully you can find a way to get your money back or that they fix it soon. I’ve been hesitant to call out new games having technical problems, but I’ve had a lot of them with like 90% of games I’ve played this year. Not sure why that is.
@@ellllyy I'm not in a position to test it yet, but I read somewhere that its due to turning on the streaming option that delays the decisions, so I'm going to try turning that off. If the other game giving you trouble is Cyberpunk 2077... I can fully understand LOL
Hard to please centenials 2day Ive heard other reviews where the game is great The game is about..... well Denial, acceptance & forgiveness....in a way!
That’s fair, I don’t deny those things. But just because a game tackles heavy topics doesn’t mean it’a worthy of praise if it’s not done well, and I think they did it in the laziest way possible. But just my opinion!
I subbed too because you review little outsider games that appeal to me that get ignored by mainstream channels for some reason

I loved this FMV game
Great review! Keep them coming!!
Thank you!!
Great review man..I got a soft spot for fmv games. I was digging the main chick in this..really pretty best thing about the game lol
I also have a soft spot for fmv games! They were really hitting a stride in 2020 but I haven’t seen as many lately. Thanks for watching!
awesome review man and great commentary
Thank you so much!
Another great one my friend!
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
You should do a review about late shift and Contradiction: Spot the Liar!
I actually already did review Late Shift! I’m not sure if I’ve heard of Contradiction before.. I’ll look it up right now! Thanks for the suggestions 🙂

Game constantly crashes on both PC and PS4, if you are using either of those, avoid. can't speak for PS5... real disappointment.
