Dan here from USA, Pennsylvania. Great video. I have been repairing these devices for people that have limited income. I enjoy helping them, and only accept a donation, IF they can afford it. I wish I had seen this guy sooner. I am absolutely enthralled by his videos. Tells you everything about investigating, and how to repair the problem. I am stuck on a friend’s scooter. Continuous beep. I think it’s the ECU.

I'm working on a Jazzy Elite ES Portable, that will not charge. The owner of the chair went to have some surgery and was away in hospital for 6 months. The chair sat on the charger the entire time. By the way I think this is so cool that you have gotten back to me, thank you so very much it means more than words can explain! Check the circuit breakers and if the are ok check voltage at the charging point. If there’s no voltage then check wiring all the way to your controller and battery 🔋

Hello, I am from USA in Florida. Thank you for your video. It really helped me eliminate some issues. We were given a JA2 that had been left on a porch uncovered. I have found that there is power coming to the joystick, but the joy stick does not come on. The running lights on the chair also come one and power. So we ordered a new joystick. I would like to check to see if I power in the control box, but I can not get the seat to lift without power. Do you have any ideas how to do this. Thank you for your help Help.

@@tomjacques4 Hello, thank you for your response. We found that the Joy stick was indeed bad and the new joy stick worked and the seat now rises and the chair rolls along and performs perfectly. My wife bought a cover for the joy stick to protect it when transporting it or when caught in a rain shower. Thanks again, Ed Smith
