Remember in Rise that the astronauts left for a mission to Mars, then they became possibly lost in space?
Wait, really?
@@jibranbhat8711 Yes. There are two scenes in Rise
@@JeremyAvis1978 Okay.
I was a kid when I watched Rise.
Probably didn't focus on much of the non ape story.
They’re planning a total of 3 trilogies, so the rocket won’t return until then, since the world is not currently as far gone as it was in the classic Planet of the Apes.
I think they saw a rocket coming to earth, that's why May was also surprised
Astronauts??
@@population-_-420 other humanoids race
It may be a rocket or a space station. Definitely a call back to the original, like the Icarus space shuttle that got lost, the talking doll also in the original and the female human named Nova was used.
@@population-_-420 most likely
The thing is
The writers dont knew what it is.ther have ideas but they dont knew. Movies with live Actors have the issue of Real life and so plant g out thinks isnt adviced.
You need to be open to cut outthings if characters ar forced to be left out.
Mae presumably only had 5 bullets left in the gun. If she killed Noe, the other apes would have mauled her and the hard drive wouldn't have made it back to the human base.
She had delivered that before and visited after. That’s why she had new clothes
The apes do not know, if you can shot infinite times ... it is magic technology.
Mae may be an untrustworthy prejudice, but she wasn't stupid
The ending was a big surprise to what the future meant be
Restart the satellites?! What's even more preposterous is the notion that communication satellites can just be left in orbit for hundreds of years and still avoid the Earth's gravitational pull. These satellites would've come crashing back to Earth a long time ago.
satellites in geosynchronous orbit will stay in orbit for millions of years even without burn corrections. Perigee & apogee may change a bit because of gravitational pull & solar storm over the years and may be a bit harder to find (we are talking a few m/s..), but the satellites will stay up there orbiting around Earth long after we are gone. Satellites in low earth orbit (including ISS) will obviously be gone, but the majority of communication satellites we sent up are in geosynchronous orbit or above 20,000km and will be fine.
Nice
Might such satellites have had thrusters already installed to maintain their orbit? Or might there have been something on the Moon to facilitate with communications? I'm asking sincerely, and perhaps naively.
Relax.... it is just a film.......to be entertaining.....nothing more nothing less......
Low orbit sats yeah but ones higher up like geostationary sats would stay in orbit for quite some time. Hundreds even thousands of years maybe depending. It isn’t that far fetched.
Can’t wait for the sequel of kingdom of the planet of the apes
The thing I cannot understand with the ending with the humans is at the start of the film it states many generations have passed since the time of Caesar. In that case and with the state of what is left of the human cities turned into jungles suggests its been many generations for the humans as well.
So how in the world are the humans in the satellite facility alive?? If they have been in there since Ceasar's time that makes them hundreds of years old! And the characters looked to young to be 100+ years old. So how have they exactly reproduced, supplied fresh food and water while NOT going outside where they could be infected with the still existent virus?
There is no way you could hide 2 or 3 generations of humans in a satellite facility without the need of going outside.
Yeah that confused me too
If you stay til the very end after the end credits, you’ll hear vocals of an orangutan, implying that raka survived
I stayed until after the credits concluded. I don't recall hearing Raka, though. What did he say?
@@RcMx2050
Long live, Red Donkey
@@RcMx2050he just made an orangutan grunt implying his survival
Fk it, i knew it. I was the only one left in the theater and i decided to go. Now i regret 😭
Mae has a bit of Koba inside of her. She mostly saw the bad side of apes until she met Noa yet still held on to her beliefs
Yeah, I think we had a space colony
deffo. noah shows the satellites or space station to the rest at the end
Definitely. I also noticed that noa saw the a display of planets n got interested in the vault so it has to be space related
The apes will got to space to escape the earth because the humans are still alive and so Noah will take the apes and fly to a new planet
@@Steveo0547 no how we are the ones with the dreams
@@Steveo0547 they gonna need alot of time to operate a spacecraft man
Will we find out that noa distant direct descendants from Caesar in future sequels because he lookalike Caesar and does noa have Caesar birthmark?
Are they setting up a possible final battle between intelligence human and apes
They saw satellite in the observatory
I'm with Caesers viewpoint. I think speciesism is as senseless as racism. Conflict between humans and simians makes for good story telling, but as long as anyone longs to get along with others, human or not, they are welcome to share the planet with me.
Traitor
Traitor
It's not speci-ism. Humam nature is ego revolving around Dominance, species and race has nothing to do with it. We even constantly go to war to dominate each other, our own species. The apes coexistes with the birds but humans can't. We have to breed dogs til they have toddler brains so we can control them in order to not be alone when we can't have another human around
@@malietoasamoa1301this is not real life 💀🤣
@_ItzKelyse 🤣🤣
I have one important question. If the apes are from somewhere with a different language per say... China or Germany, would they be speaking a different language? XD
Probably, yes
No change in Africa 😂
@@Czarbucks6146 thanks man
It is a joyful movie ! Do not ask for this kind of logic ... you destroy yourself the fun by overthinking.
@@MrSmithie25 to be honest, I indeed enjoyed. Just got the curiosity to ask certain questions because warning spoiler ahead
We know intelligent humans still exist, atleast in the US. So why not in other countries. It's always the lore that keeps me on wanting to watch more of the future franchises :]
I would like to see the next movie several hundred years into the future where both the Apes and the Humans have drastically advanced in their development and the end up blowing up the world and the apes travel back in time sort of like the old series.
Yes! And make it where they can eliminate Will Rodfield
that ending really makes it seem like the future is more uncertain than ever and its not about coexisting anymore its about taking it all
Well I think there is hope for humanity’s restoration but still coexistence
What did Noa saw at the end ?
Spaceship / moon / or satélite ? 🤔😐
saturn and jupiter
Uranus
This is just my opinion. What if setting it up. Where these talking humans. Who been hiding out in Cleary cold war era nuclear bunker. But how would they have been able to keep the bunkers full of supplies. Like food & supplies of fuel to keep lights on in bunker
The bunker had hundred of years of food?
Perhaps mushroom farming and lab-grown meat cultivating, etc.?
Lame for 300 years ?@@MS-ii1sv
This is a very different kind of movie to get used to it
One branch of hominids gets an edge over another and wipes it out. A very old, periodically repeated story. As the Neanderthals found out too late.
I am amazed about how no one of you saw the red blinking dots in the sky after suna and noa looked through the telescope. There were several of them. Like 6 or 7 of them. I believe it's a big space station of several of them
No way that stuff would have turned on 300 yrs later 😅
Don’t understand the whole movie was about birds 🦅 o well 😢 I watched it free 😂😅
God bless America, God bless the Enclave
is Mae effected by the virus? did Mae relate her life being saved by the members of the eagle clan? the reason the eagle clan never went to the other side of the tunnel, because they knew the dangers over there by violent apes and none apes? will there be mutated humans in future movies?
I think, they will not have mutants, because there was no nuclear war like in the 60s movies. It is a reboot ... like Kelvin-timeline in Star Trek.
@@MrSmithie25 perhaps when they or one group of human survivors, tried one type of anti-virus serum would do the job, instead of radiation?
@@dragdragon23 ok, that could be possible.
@@MrSmithie25 but, we have to wait and see how they write it. if not in this trilogy, but maybe the next?
I'm pretty sure they're gonna connect the movies. That was always the plan. After all the notion these are prequels have always been what MADE these movies.
I want to see humans making a comeback in their next movies
Those satellites would have fallen to Earth long before this movie takes place.
Except some high orbit satellites
I want wes ball & writers, producers to return to continue kingdom of apes sequels
Wes is doing Zelda next
He talked befor He might only stay as a Producer as He isnt sure He wants to be locked down for another 5 years like that
They killed off my favorite character Raka , he sacrificed himself to save Mae the little cold blooded witch that she is , doing espionage for her faction of humans...As a human I didn't like her , only rooted for the apes... I even liked Proximus over her ...She actually showed up to kill Noah at the end ... She totally used them for her own gain
Dont ee have enought movies involving humans? I wish they would just focus on the apes instead of trying to bring em together.
is it possible that the humans start a new war on the apes, and the use the satellites to launch nukes.
That'd be epic. But they promised 9 films. Including the four we got so far.
may is bad. no humans on earth that could talk are good on earth before astronauts came back. may in my opinion bad
It's a different story. I like it. This franchise is doing its own thing with some inspiration from the old movies.
i didnt like the movie.
I agreed. When May and Noa then went into the vault. The guns they have won’t even high powered as the last movie for one.
There’s more I’d complain about. But will wait if there will be more movies from the time Caesar died to this movie.
