Just a short video on how I fixed the "wobble" on my magnetic armrest on my 2022 Titan Evo.
I know a lot of people are having this issue, so if you've got a screwdriver and are willing to do this yourself, you can get this fixed super fast.

Great video. Just wanted to drop in and say the adjustment bar doesn't need to be removed. If you press the button or lift the bar carefully and slide it to the side, you can expose the screw enough to tighten it. Did this on both sides of mine and it saves you having to refit the spring.

I have the "2020 Omega" model and it does not have screws on the outside so you need to pry it off with force, apart from that they are identical.
But for me the problem was 1 layer deeper than what was shown in the video. If you go one layer deeper you will find 4x"wood screws" and they have no Loctite or anything to hold them, so all of them were loose. Also if you decide to go one layer deeper, you should be prepared for small balls and springs to fall out.
i think that's what the problem with mine is, I tightened the screw shown in the video but the whole mechanism is just wobbling. I definitely have to remove the entire top half and go deeper. Shouldn't have to do this for such an expensive chair, I'll never buy a piece of shit Secretlabs product ever again
Would you recommend going one layer deeper to fix the wobbling? How much risk is there with loose parts and stuff like that?
@@ACheekyOtter it's not that hard, i think there was 2 metal balls and one or two springs that came out. I can disassemble mine again and take some pictures if you mess up. Since mine is wobbling again already. Guess I'll use loctite or epoxy this time. Since I added nothing last time.

Hey, thanks! That really is a very unfortunate possibility when doing things like this. I find that a lot with controller modifications I do as well.
this fix is even better if you apply silicone grease to the plastic case where the metal locking mechanism sits, coat the plastic "bed" in it so any gaps are filled with a nice tacky grease that will silence it further.

Any solution for the Titan Evo Regular 2024? Same wobble but I don't know how to take it apart there aren't any screws like this video has. Also theres a wobble when sitting back in the chair in the locked upright position. For the 2024 version it seems like the whole plastic part bottom to top is wobbly, apparently if you try and refund they charge shipping fees for the weight. Unless i miss read what people have tried.

Hypothetically.....could you replace the 2020 model arm rest tops with a 2022 model top? Even if you need to make a few modifications like adding magnets? I know the skins fit on 2020's almost perfectly.

This is caused by too much tommy takning while your elbow is resting on the rest (notice it's always the right one) LOL
I'm right handed and this is only happening on my left one lol.

I tried this but this doesn’t even seem to be my issue, the entire arm rest itself is wobbling, not just the elbow pads.
Underneath there are 2 allen screws on each side (different size than the allen keys they send you) and i’m pretty sure that that tightening them will solve this issue, just need to find the right tool. Odd how common of an issue this is considering the rest of the chair seems well structured.
Update: it fixed the entire arm wobble issue But I followed this tutorial for both side and still have significant wobble from each adjustable elbow pad. Unimpressed by this $700 chair so far

I've been doing this for a while now. sadly, it keeps on coming back. The screw always gets loose on the right side. The left side though seems to be fine. Is there a way to fix this without it becoming loose again? TY.
That's not great, sorry you're going through that. Unfortunately, I'm not too sure what to do about it coming back, but I'll look into it and see what I find.
Is there any easy way to mod the armrest so there is no wobble? Even after the fix is still wobbles.
As far as I can tell, there's a possibility of something being possible if it was redesigned with two screw holes in mind, but I'm going to have to look into the possibility of doing something like that.
well the screws cant come out and are now stripped. Idk how to fix it. Cant even contact the company without a billion required fields. I just want to use the chair that i paid 500 for cause it was supposed be a quality product. the company is a Bunch of scammers.
