Just moved from Miami to Charlotte and I love it, I always will be grateful with Florida because it was the first State I arrived, I lived in Florida for 9 years and Florida will be special. HOWEVER, besides my sentimental words, people is rude, drivers are crazy (CRAZY), prices are ridiculous, and honestly, if you are not rich, not sure how you can buy a house or have a family down there.

At my age 63 years old retired Army veteran I was considering Florida Tampa, but it got so crowded, traffic is terrible, I visited Tampa, but I decided to move to Fayetteville N.C. because I was stationed at FT. Bragg / Liberty, not crowded, not muc to do but I don't need the hoopla.
I’m 66 years old and have been living in South Florida since 1972. I have seen it go through a major decline decade by decade, beginning with the Cuban Mariel Boat Lift, thanks to the Georgia Peanut Farmer President Jimmy Carter. Now it is like living in the bowels of hell. Moving to the Raleigh, NC this December with Brandy as my realtor. Hoping to spend my final years in life living a better life in NC.

I have heard some of the private schools in Miami cost from 60 to 80k a year?! 😮
Yes we actually have a few private schools here in Raleigh that can range anywhere from $30k-$60k 😳
