Tavarish im from the Netherlands, who is the manufacturer of the p1 turbo’s now I’m curious !!
I got a better name for this yet yo be great car... P1 DIVEo xD great proyect!!!
Would a laser rust remover work magic on the P1 parts or ruin them??? Can they be ruined?!
so happy your going with a P1 GTR inspired kit ! and the power goal is awesome too, this will be the best P1 in the world imo ✅
ive been watching since the Gallardo build and i have no regrets
Oh my days the p1 is going full insane mode!!!! 😮😮

The most ambitious automotive restoration project I’ve ever heard of. I really hope it comes to fruition in the way you want it to dude.
T can take a burnt to shit pile of rubbish and turn it into a sparkling clean fire breathing supercar of course it'll come to fruition this is ez sauce
i particularly love the collaboration between creators and companies towards making the P1 a success. incredible work!
Who wouldn't want to be associated with probably the biggest YT car rebuild project every taken on? next one will be a Veyron! 🙂
Really is amazing to see everyone pulling together for him. Everyone wants this to be successful!

Feels like I’m watching history in the making with this series.

Tavarish’s positive attitude is infectious.
When you have most of you want in life and keeping that way of life is doing what you love…it’s hard not be happy and optimistic
With all the Amoebae, Typhus and Diatomaceous dust, all involved or have just simply visited are probably cooking up some sorta "Binford-Plague" Zombie Virus internally, that will kill all of us. 😳😵💫😵

I know a build of this caliber takes time to get certain parts refurbished, new or used. With that being said, I just can’t wait for part 8 to drop. I saw this vid day 1 when it released and had to swing back by to make sure I didn’t miss a new episode.
As a former mechanic these are the most fascinating videos I've ever seen. I hope it gets to a part 20 or 30.
15 to 20
Yeah I'm learning so much about how they are kind of terribly built from a maintenance perspective, but engineering masterpieces
I did not expect that carbon body at all. It looks out of this world! Can't wait to see it all put together.
I suspected it, personally, as the entire body was essentially a write-off. I just hope that he's not going 100% CF and adds some splashes of color to it.
@@plektosgamingyou’re the expert on this kind of thing. Thank you for your input to set us all straight. ✌️
I read this before I watched it and spent 30 minutes wondering what you were so hype about. GOT IT
@@louskunt9798 The entire CF body kit would cost him.. 20-40K. No paint, no issues. And he's done body kits to save money before. Given McLaren's pricing insanity, spending 200K+ for body panels was never going to be very likely.
@@plektosgamingYou're joking right? $20-40K? You're dreaming! I bet that's easily 100-150K+. I believe Manny had his P1 sent back to McLaren for a full carbon body replacement and that was something like 250K and done years ago.
4 weeks without any update 😢
I'm starting to think Freddie has gone completely insane. I'm hoping other companies that were involved in building parts for this car will reach out and help to upgrade it.
How am I meant to sleep after seeing that carbon kit!
Freddy went from" ohh no way it's gonna be a running car" to " ohh sh1t, it's gonna be the BEST P1 on the planet"😀
💯
Loving that this series has inadvertently turned into a bit of a "P1 showcase" series.
I hope part 8 is 3 hours long upload more often
It has been a month, you should post another episode now, daily checking for an upload
Freddy always says "build it better" and he has never disappointed. Well done so far mate!
Has he ever built something that works? 😮
@@OurCognitiveSurplusyes, they last atleast a week or two.
Honestly in my opinion I wouldn't even paint it. That exposed carbon is absolutely beautiful. I think the more I watch these videos the more I fall in love with the build. Wishing you all the best Tavarish!!!
I would leave parts of it exposed, but the yellow looks fantastic and preserves the history
W
Nah the black doesn't look that good, I liked the original yellow color
The Pagani method with the tinted lacquer looks awesome. Transparent yellow would fit the history of the car while still displaying the carbon weave.
Do it like the post Malone senna with exposed red carbon. So sick when I saw it in person.
Bro it’s been 2 weeks where u at? Cmon my guy

I don't know why im even watching this. I'm not even a car enthusiast. But I like every second of it and wish that this guy's dream car will one day be a reality.
I was skeptical of the MOD, but then…This is going to look amazing.
@@djhunt1961 don't think a full carbon fiber replacement body is 'cost effective' but I get what you're saying lol
@@joony17The stock body is already carbon fibre but comes with the Mclaren Tax on top + this is a great way for companies to show there offering and potential to a very wide audience. It's a win win hats off to business strategy to be able to get the P1 back on the road 🔥
It won’t work, even as a mod. Waaaay too much work and cost to get parts. Even modded, what about the interior? Engine control? Digital displays? ABS/ESP/etc??

That should be the name for it PEVO

Dude the next video better be three parts together
the modifying is amazing. THIS is really the chance to do it, the collectors value is gone anyway, so if there is a single P1 with which you could do this, its this one. Cant wait for whats about to come
So true. With its title history, it would be really difficult to sell and get your invested money back from it, so go crazy with the mods you would normally think twice about.
Its been a month, Freddy.
Youre killing me..
I would love to see McLaren themselves offer a small token of some kind to contribute to this extreme undertaking you have committed to. Best wishes on this challenge.

Never will.. big company.. will not like a youtuber doing what they charge millions a year to do

Even if this rebuild is only at its beginning stage, Tavarish has achieved RUclips legend status.
The 675LT rebuild got him legend status. This is just bonkers. He's really the only person on RUclips that could have done the P1 project.
The real problem is that this is literally a frame-off process as every nut, bolt, gasket, and piece has to be inspected. And most of it replaced. Their insistence on using aluminum is a problem as opposed to other alloys as it all has to go. If it were a Mustang, a little corrosion isn't a big deal - stop it and seal it. But when it's been lightened to where there's no leeway in the design, that's exactly where it'll snap or fail. And the car as a LOT of aluminum in it. So lots of work and videos to come. Probably take them the better part of a year as the real issues are putting it all together and waiting on those smaller bits and parts.
Also, if the clutch has a water line like that, the transmission is also trashed inside. This might end up being a 1 million dollar project in the end.
We are all pulling for you. Excellent series. Love the variety of different people you bring in all with the same goal of breathing life to your vision/project. The viewers have spoken, tune out any haters or negativity, you are pushing the bar of car building and entertainment. 2 thumbs 👍👍up.
The fact that Freddy has made an entire custom body for this thing is insane. I don't even want to know how much that cost. But it looks absolutely ridiculous. Huge props to David and his shop cause that carbon work is beautiful.
ok
ok
Sponsorship is probably a part of the payment
Sometimes you should make it even better than the original, just like Tavarishes 675LT. And yeah, i know more power destroyed the 675LT
That's about 130 to 180k for the shell
Joey is the man. Without him, this re-build wouldn’t be possible. Whatever he charges is worth every penny.
This isn’t only best rebuilt on RUclips. It is the best video on RUclips. It is the best rebuild anywhere. The entire community needs to get behind this project. Go Freddy and team. You got this.
It is an ambitious but awesome project. I can't wait to see the end product
Although I also think Binky would have to be right up there. Even Tavarish was wearing a Binky shirt in Part 5 of this project. I hope this doesn't take as long though! Lol
I know you have the twat of a RUclipsr who got a free plane and is scamming everyone to buy merch and go fund me to fund his plane rebuild which he will then own for free and see for a profit some people are stupid but this guy hasn’t once pushed anything like that onto us I love watching these videos
He’s a genius. Stall the rebuild out and make tons of “parts”basically rebuilding it for free. Nothin major getting done but his RUclips bank account. Clever.
Isn't it the greatest thing you've ever seen? I've been in awe from the beginning of part 1.
Tavarish! 3 weeks and no video. What's up? Are you good?!
Part 8 is coming very soon in 3 months time
If I had faith in anyone on RUclips taking on such an endeavor and doing the best and most correctly accurate repairs it would be none other than yours truly “Tavarish” You’re a genuine person and wish you the best my man!
@@mostlymotorized 🤣
@@mostlymotorized In a world full of arseholes, being nice might come across like that, hey!

Just wanted to say thank you for your generosity to Mr Armstrong, for the donation of the Ferrari engine. Just shows how top a guy you are. Going from a flooded mess to potentially the coolest P1 on the internet…. This series is insane
It's going to go down the history as "THE" P1.
I hope exotic car gear is giving you a good deal because I think your massive audience for this project is thoroughly impressed with them. I think they will get a boost in business from this, looking at the quality of their work they deserve it, cant believe they could produce something like that of that quality that quick.
That’s pretty subjective, the ole boys face didn’t look like he was getting a good deal lmao
I would question, how much of the audience could afford to shop there
@@coleBlaphe’s probably just a straight shooter is all
The customers that approach them aren't looking for deals because they make enough money to afford such crazy stuff already. People go into that shop knowing they'll spend quite a lot.
@@notreallyhere1136 probably less then 10% but what’s that even got to do with the post? I wonder what precent of the viewers can afford a 2 mill car? Lmao I doubt anyone in the comment section is buying a p1 and watching this, so it doesn’t really matter.

That's one of the best parts about very public builds of modified supercars: the makers HATE it. I love to see them squirm.
@@bamzilla. afaik Lamborghini loves it which is amazing
@@ohthatremindsmeofmypruneju3669 Liability issue, you fix it yourself no lawsuit, they fix it and it fails...
I mean, they're making themselves look weak. That CF on the bottom has no meaning other than 'make the customer pay for repairs', exorbitantly, so it's pure stupid tax, and the engine bay is chuck full of cheap parts sold expensively (more, stupid tax) some of them scumbaggingly hidden behind fascias to hide the fact that they're cheap parts.
I'd never buy one of these. Horrible car to own. You'll never be able to enjoy it on public roads, every asshole will try to sit on it, people will key it, even on tracks you're not allowed to go full tilt, and the thing is uncomfortable as hell. Nah, i'd rather own a cheap nugget, built up proper, no money spared, which can then be enjoyed on public roads and on tracks, because its power is proportional to reality, not vapid imaginations of people who don't really work a day in their life. Tavarish is exempt on this, for obvious reasons, and other people's tastes and choices are their own, but i'd never spend money for something like this. It's a car that no normal person would enjoy owning. You're better off learning to build experimental aircraft and using those for speed demon needs.
Oh Tavarish, how do you sleep at night knowing you disassembled an entire P1 with a million of bolts and tubes that will all need to be put back together at a much later time. Just that thought alone makes my head spin. Props to you for this undertaking, you got balls of steel. I can't wait till you're done with this project, well I hope you take your time its hella fun to watch!
When you take it apart, you remember where it all goes, because you were forced to learn it while taking it apart. That and labeled containers.

Come on tavarish, it’s been a month.
We need part 8
Hey Tarvish. When using an ultrasonic tank, make sure to remove all the rubber and any small clips and things like that. You want whatever part your cleaning to be completely stripped to the bare minimum. River can lose integrity and clips can lost strength and things like that.
And the transducers are kinda sensitive and the basket should stay in place. Put small parts in a glass jar(not plastic) with cleaning solution to save cleaning the fluid all the time
Also I'm pretty sure he didn't use enough ultrasonic solution, I usually use the blue stuff and it's pretty apparent the amount that's used. His seemed like more water? Not sure if there is clear solution. But I think it should've gotten the other one spinning, oh well I suppose he doesn't care because they are being sent out to the manufacturer.
