Great to hear! I've highly enjoyed watching your fun and clever Goldlewis play, so I'm excited and hopeful to see more of you in future Top 8 bracket streams Wishing you the best of luck!
1:07:14 was an actual sick play despite its deceptive simplicity, @Kirbybad being quick-witted in answering Sacred Edge by shortly dashing up to intercept the projectile and shield the drone was very clever, and an unexpectedly hype way to close out the round! If you check the video slowed down after Ky casts SE, he immediately dashes at Goldlewis, whom appeared a sitting duck trapped in blockstun. Expecting to start some strong pressure using the generous frame advantage of a blocked SE, Ky was instead instantly met with the drone which he (quite reasonably) thought he'd dealt away with using the super. Many GL mains (myself included) would try going over Sacred Edge with an IAD j.D or gliding air BT, which are both slower and riskier - @Kirbybad's creative Goldlewis play is a treat to watch so I hope he'll be entering more streamed tournaments in the future :)
@@D.B_Xavi oh bugger! that's fair given it felt like a stressful part of the match, and that's only speaking as a spectator - but you put on a hell of a Ky performance and won the entire tournament, so well done and grats!
Please consider changing the audio balancing so the gameplay audio is 'at least' what they use for EVO/TNS strive tournaments. Personally I would advocate even EVOL/TNS be 10-20% louder (evo seems to up the volume when it gets to top 7, which slaps hard); I'd rather occasionally struggle to hear the commentary in exchange for the greater immersion....Hotashi commentary is a good example of this occuring with his quiet voice. Here I can't even tell what the music playing is in this video, much less hear it; and I can barely hear anything from the characters other than the contact sounds.
I actually second this. I know I’m a player so my opinion doesn’t matter as much, but i think one of the main things going along with strive is the games audio, the sound effects and music is super beautiful, and is somewhat difficult to hear unless you’re realllllyyy looking out for it. If this could be taken into consideration for next week I’d appreciate it:)
thank you for having me. glad to finally get my exuction in check

@@RichardIK7 haha yeah, goldlewis is one of ky’s bad MUs and arguably his worst so it’s super stressful to play. Ty
