It was really touching or even moving to watch you being spoon fed by the host. As though a father feeding her beloved daughter upon her return to him after a very long time!! If there's heaven it is right here in Bali. You get so much for so little!!!

tum is a traditional balinese steamed meat wrapped in banana leaf. My late mom used to make yummy fish or chicken tum. Some part of Indonesia I think also have variation of this dish, but with very different ingredients. I'm sure almost all balinese love this dish.
