Hey guys, I'm trying to use a Pixy2 cam on a px4 fmu, and on the QGroundControl Mavlink Consol that tells me that it has no response. I use the I2C interface, the fmu port seems to work, like the wires and the driver. I set the address and the baudrate as it's mentioned in the driver code. I don't have more idea 😅
Is there a way the pixy2 can track a wall bigger than the scope of the camera? I would like to use it to be able to tell the distance from a robot the pixy is attached to to a wall
Hi William, you can't directly measure distance from an object using Pixy. You can extrapolate though. The easiest way to do this is to use an object of known size, like a post-it note. You can then calibrate your Arduino code (or whatever) by using the 'area' values that Pixy returns, which represent the apparent size of the object. Since the apparent size will vary by distance, you can record the values at several known distances. Once that's all set, you can make some pretty good guesses (extrapolation) using the size values that Pixy returns, and what that means about how far away the object is. Hope this helps! Hi, unfortunately this is not feasible within Pixy's hardware / firmware constraints. We tried implementing face tracking a while back, but couldn't get satisfactory results, so the feature has been scrapped. Sorry to disappoint!
Who had the idea hiring a porn speaker? Makes me distrust the quality of the product. It just made me not buy it out of curiosity. Maybe I will need it sometime. But probably not.
TAKE MY MONEY. Props for being able to launch this without a crowdfunding campaign.
Woo! Can't wait to use this cool guy. Great job Charmed Labs. :)
Pixy2 asmr please, lmao
That's super cool :D Making robotics easy!
Now why did the voice actor have to whisper the whole time, makes me shudder.
I can just watch this over and over because of the beautiful voice of the voice actor. (just as incredible as the pixy itself :) )
Great work guys!
For $55 this is damn incredible.
I like how the dude in the lab coat puts the hair and hat on the robot
OHHH, awesome
What is the robot base being used in the demo video?
Do you plan make LEGO Mindstorm EV3 variant like older version?
narrator ASMR damn...
can i use 2 pixy2's to use as eye for my small humanoid robot i wanna build
Thanks
What kind of robot frame and wheels were used for this? The turn maneuvering is amazing. I'd like to use it for my robot; link please
YES exactly !

In the bar code do they detect the white?
Is it possible to transmit the video to an android phone? What else do i need?
Impressive! Will there be a kit for the complete robot in the demo?
We'll post a howto guide first -- how to assemble the Pixy2/pan-tilt/Zumo base robot. We might make it a kit, depending on how popular it is. Thanks!
Has the guide or kit been released yet? Super stoked to see the new 2!
Wowww, can i combine pixy2 with arduino to create robot to chase the ball?

Can i know where i can contact the voice actor?
Hi do you know where I can find the code of this project?
pixycam.com/projects/
#pixy2
Can it do face detection ?. The original one couldn't.
Hi Methlal, unfortunately not. We tried several algorithms to get this working on Pixy, but we failed due to memory constraints.
Is it really just 6 objects it can recognize, is that a hard limit?
Hi Amellia, not quite - Pixy2 can recognize 6 distinct colors, but within each color, it can track hundreds of objects.
what robot base is that?
It's the Zumo base from Pololu: www.pololu.com/product/2506
@@Pixycamera Thank you
Well, i just can't get it, how someone can give dislike for this?
No face tracking yet?

who's the voice actor?
