Its so awesome that you build storage that doesn't look like much space but then you slide it out and show us an angle of how much capacity it has and its quite shocking. So much stuff in a limited space. I also like your videos more compared to some other camping channels because you don't put music over the videos or talk non stop. The sound of nature is wonderful and sets the tone more purely. Amazing views as usual. And Boomer is such a funny little guy!

Love the videos. I think the exhaust pipe for the diesel heater should extend BEYOND the wheel well so the tip is in fresh air.. It looks like gases could become trapped and enter the van the way it is.
Nice setup. I agree that you don't have to go very far to have a good time in a van. The key is knowing the spots that not too many people know about. Only problem now is that everyone has google maps, so you have to be willing to go to places with limited cell service to avoid the crowds. ✌️😎
No canopies there, even on a sunny day. May use magnets or industrial velcro on the outside perimeter. Good vid. Van is a great tool for travel, secure too. You really don't have to get out if you don't want. Later.
Yeah,,, them vans are nice,,, I had a 76 chevy and an 82 chevy both were done up all except the wood stove.... never thought of that back then.... get this the 76 NEW chrome trim rear AC 350 V8 power everything 3/4 ton $ 5250 the 82 same package but no rear air 1/2 ton $13680,,, today I dont know but the chevy High Country was in the 70's + financing.... not worth it for aluminum and plastic LOL.... Yep,, van are fun - lived in mine months at a time.... I miss it for sure !!!!
I like your set up on your van...I see a lot other van with storages drawers long the top of the van. To me is ok but it makes the van look so cramps in there... I like this set up you get all your storage on the bottom and long the side on the bottom... it makes the van look bigger...

I live in a small Apartment and use a Camping Stove for cooking. At night I use solar Camping lamps (left on window shelf in day to charge up during daylight for free energy) Sometimes candles as well. I have a couple of 500 ml metal flasks. So when I make my morning hot drinks. (Barley Cup/Cacao etc) I do add spices- Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Turmeric, Cardomon and Clove) as I can't drink much Coffee. When the drink is boiled, I pour it into my 500 ml flask so that I can have more than one mug of drink. I do boil up a kettle of water and then pour it into a big flask to be used during the day. I just thought with any left over hot water from your boiling up water for your Coffee that if you poured any left over boiled water into an unbreakable flask, then you will have hot Water ready for another drink or whatever? Perhaps you already do this? I just thought it was an energy saving idea, which will not only save a bit of energy but also time in boiling up water. I am enjoying watching your expeditions. I feel as though I am Camping out with you, but in my Apartment. Hi Boomer. I think you are so cute. Particularly in your cold and wet weather outfits. So sweet. On the rooftop camper you have a part that drops down to make a small enclosed area. Could you add one of those to back of the van? I love your videos. Take care.
What a perfect spot to spend the night. The EB sandbar is an awesome camp spot at any time of year, although that being said, it is crazy busy there in the summer. You picked the perfect time to camp there, and test out the vans systems and upgrades. For sure you and Kendra did an awesome job on that van build. Hi : you are on the East Bay sandbar whi h crosses the famous Bras dor lakes, not the ocean, these are the largest salt water lakes in the world.This is a favorite spot in the summer, for swimming, boating etc.
