Thank you, Samuel, for an enjoyable demo. You made the apple come alive and I learned a lot about the color green. My first still life "died" - I took far too long and the pear and orange faded into mush long before I could finish. Needless to say, I learned a great deal from that effort. You mentioned taking a photo reference which I now do - of course, I also have learned to paint much faster. Again, thank you so much for sharing your skills and knowledge.

Hi Sam if you dont want your still life to look like a botanical painting ie Kew gardens please look up the work of Paul Cezanne i will say no more all the best Tony Rayner cheers UK
