Thank you Sam! What a selfless, helpful, teacher you are. I have learned so much watching & listening to you showing all of us what to do.
I had never painted with oils, until 2 yrs ago. Have always drawn & painted with watercolor, so I have crossed over to the “dark side “ so to speak, lol!
Thanks again, appreciate your tutorials so much!

👋Hi Sam, although I'm not a pro, I saw the amazing result after you re-did the clouds. The finished painting looks absolutely wonderful; I love the colors used, the appearance of the waves and the splashing water. Thanks for your explanations and for showing the process of making the changes. Have a pleasant week💖

Hello brother ... Thank you very much for your tremendous efforts... I ask you for a request, please accept it. We are beginners, I hope you focus on the basics, for example, dedicate a full video about mountains, another about trees, then seas, and so on... It will be more beneficial to us... ❤

Thank you. I found this most interesting. I too make sketches before I am ready to paint anything. I like your idea of making small colour studies after designing the painting using the mini sketches.

Beautiful painting! I tend to jump right in since I only paint as a hobby (retirement) and not to sell them. Having said that, I see how this could prevent problems. Thanks for the great tips. Side note; really liking the shorter hair.

How did you hang your square panel on the wall without a frame. I love the clean look.

This painting is on a linen stretcher, I just screwed in some eyes into the stretcher bars and attached nylon cord to them.

Love the water, Sam! But I have to point out that the rock on the left upper part comes too far down and looks somewhat misplaced. Can you see that?
Anyway, appreciate what you are doing.
    Poetry first, then the paint
