Gorgeous Texas morning without a cloud in the sky as we descend into the Houston area. Winds favored a not so typical landing toward the northwest on runway 31L.

HOU is a fun airport, especially to take off from.
@@AListFlierKris do you get to see the skyscrapers more from this airport or IAH? I hardly see videos of the skylines part when landing or taking off.
@@GSM92 I haven’t been through IAH yet, but I will in a couple of weeks. The proximity of downtown an the other dense business areas around houston aren’t relatively close to either airport. Sometimes going into HOU, depending on the runway in use and arrival route we can pass within a few miles of downtown and see it but it’s not near as close as say arriving into DAL over downtown Dallas.
