These current musical wannabes should take notice: Bic Runga is humble in her singing, fully clothed, and capable of invoking the feelings of her listeners. She also has a simplistic beauty that doesn't overshadow her musical talent. Here, she echos the form and makeup of Dita Von Teese (a la her makeup and midnight black hair). She is heart breakingly beautiful.
Her quality as an artist has nothing to do with these superficial qualities. By judging women for how they dress and focusing on appearance, you're the one disregarding the music
So good, because you can interpret it in your own way for your own circumstances, so it has a profound meaning. Hope that is what she wanted when she wrote it, sure it is.

There are many not so good singers that turn famous too..and even bad songs.. But predominantly...i think for Bic.. it's racial problem and lack of songs..or good songs.. So far .only one song i like from her..never heard much of any others
