Good lord! POINT 3 - Contractor with an Inbuilt Architect team. I don't know whether to laugh or be sorry about it. FYI A Contractor is part of an Architects team but in our country after independence Contractors who have no idea of architecture are playing the role of an Architect. No wonder our public buildings and our cities look and function like garbage!

If only architects didn't charge a fortune, normal people who are building a home for themselves would approach them. That's when contractors come into picture and provide service to individual home builders as per their needs.

@@Hireandbuild tell me what is that fortune that Architects are charging? 7.5% is what most known Architecture firms charge. Half of what a contractor charges. Like I said there is no value for ideas and thoughts in our country. I understand the general publics perception that what's there to think in designing a building. Buts it's when people in the construction field themselves don't understand the need, it just looks so bad.
