I saw the thumbnail and I said “oh snap, it’s time to bust out the heavy artillery”. This is such a killer box set! Kudos to you for getting your hands on it and spending your income taxes right! Your fiancé is smart for letting you treat yourself. I’ve considered trading in my Queen records in order to snag this set. The book is beautiful and the colors are perfectly complementary to the artwork. I have the stand-alone black vinyl pressings they put out and they sound absolutely amazing. Cut at half speed at Abbey Road by one of the best mastering engineers out there and sourced from amazing sound masters, this is a bang out job. Hope you enjoy this set. With your wedding coming up, you may not need a DJ/wedding band and just spin this box! All the best Marichen, stay safe!
Hey Dylan, thanks for watching! It is definitely worth the investment! I absolutely adore the book it has a lot of really cool information about all of their albums! I have several OG's of their albums already, which is why I had pushed this off. But I am glad Jared ended up persuading me to spend the money on it.

Thank you! I adore Queen. When I was about 5 I discovered their "Greatest Hits" CD that my parents had and I remember falling in love and I played that CD until it wouldn't play anymore...literally! Ever since then I absolutely loved them and I had to learn more. My parents ended up buying more Queen CD's because I wore them out on the "Greatest Hits" it also allowed me to learn more songs by them. "Sheer Heart Attack" was actually the first full studio album I listened to in full from them. Hope you are doing well and staying safe!

So glad to see a younger person enjoy the music I loved (And still do) as a teenager back in the 1970'S This boxset is just killer and the love the label EMI showed to the fans of Queen is well worth the $400 mark
Thanks! The first introduction I had to Queen was when I was about 5, my mom had the greatest hits CD and I immediately became hooked! I have loved them ever since! I do think this box set is well worth the money!
@@marichensmusic So don't I but I only have 2 albums missing from the box set I hope later on they do the Queen Live Albums in a box set Queen Killers 1979 Kind Of Magic 1986 and Live At Wembley Stadium 1986 The Live Aid Performance 1985( Just the original queen) and any other live albums that have been Queens permission to be released
A live box set would be very cool as well!

Welp...I know what box set I now need! I knew this was gonna pull out the big guns just by your video photo! This looks beautiful in every way! Wow! All those colors! Enjoy these...I’m sure you will! I don’t mind “hot space” but it isn’t their best or worst in my opinion! All the best!
Haha! I definitely recommend it! I have really enjoyed this box set and I think it was beautifully done! I think "Hot Space" kind of falls in the middle for me, but I definitely do not think it is their worst like some other Queen fans. Hope you are well!
The only one I would have changed is A Kind of Magic should have been on a solid orange vinyl, rather than transparent orange. Everything else is perfect!
I agree! I think the opaque orange would have looked better than the translucent orange, but I much prefer opaque colored vinyl to the transparent colored vinyl.

Those colored vinyls are absolutely stunning. I was kind of on the fence about buying this but after seeing this video, I'm buying it.
They are definitely very gorgeous! I feel as though this was a perfect addition to my collection!
Mine did not arrive safely in the Amazon box unfortunately. It was in a huge Amazon box and was able to roll around inside the box as it made it's way from Europe to Australia.

1st off congrats on your upcoming wedding. you guys are a great couple. 2nd i too own this box set of Queen. I have not listen to made in heaven and flash gordon is ok (but i love the yellow vinyl). Glad i got it. I paid over 400 when it was released but i did not care. causei love Queen like u my friend. thanks for doing this video.Queen Rules (fan since 1990)

Hey Mike! Thank you! I have really enjoyed this box set thus far, I have loved Queen since I was about 5, so about 15 years now. My mom had their greatest hit CD and I immediately fell in love with them and I overplayed that album until my parents bought some more Queen CD's then I overplayed all of those as well! Hope you are well!
The works has got a black label on the record the original record was a red label I don't understand why they didn't replicat that
Yes, there were a few minor details that weren't the same as the original. However for the most part the box set it pretty accurate to the original releases of these albums.
Did any of the discs have skips? Thanks in advance...
I have not had any issue with skips or pops!

Would it damage the vinyl if I use the inner sleeves that come with the albums? Are they just like 'decor' or is it made to use?
I personally only use a MoFi inner sleeve, honestly any poly lined sleeve is better than a paper sleeve. I have found that paper sleeves can scuff the vinyl itself. But you can use the inner sleeves that an album comes with.

See the Flash Gordom film all the way, it's silly fun and I love Hot Space, makes my fat ass get up and dance.
I will have too, my dad has seen it several times and that is kind of where I seen bits and pieces of the movie. I just never sat down to watch it, but I will for sure have to in the future! I also love Hot Space, I don't get why everyone hates it!

I hate made in heaven one it hard listen to because My Dad was big fan of Queen and he died in 2011 from lung Abscess cause by his drinking problem that my mum stay that he what queens songs play at his funeral i dont think his family put queen on at his funeral that i dont know that reason why i can't listen to it . Ps i got one on my phone.
