This was a solid boss! Very secure within himself and allowing growth of subordinates who so wished to grow.

There is no need for him to smile a lot. What is of more value is that he has a kind heart. Probably someone who was trying too hard to convince everyone that he was a good man.

I perfectly agree. The two and many more who worked closely and most of the time within a day need the spiritual therapy cos Herbert was 1 in a million ❤ The vacuum of his death, that of his wife and 1st son is a PAINFUL EXIT.
