I heard this album for the first when I was about 14 in a skate shop in cork, ireland. I was browsing for a pair of d.c's and I loved it so much I asked the cashier what the album was and immediately went out to buy it. I still love this album to this very day.
I was a regular at Gatecrasher in Sheffield and this is one of those albums that will always take me back there.awesome music from an awesome time. Glad you enjoyed the post. 🙏

Very emotional and definitely special.. I’m so glad I found this because this album here ….. takes me back to a time in my life where I was so care free … not a worry in the world nor thinking of where my life choices might take me … I’m 34 now I’ve been living an awesome life though I’ve made good choices and bad been happy and sad but after everything I’ve been through I’m forever grateful I found dance and trance ❤️❤️❤️

Omg you’re not the only one. I first heard this album 22 yrs ago. I’m now 43. And as I’m texting this. I’m listening to the Album. It’s starting to get dark here in San Diego and it’s actually cold. Feels like fall. So many memories good times with good and beautiful people. Back when I use to to Rave go to underground clubs after hours. When we didn’t use camera phones. Everybody danced the night away. I miss Trance days. 98 -2010. Trance sucks now.

This was my first GC album. Bought the rest after. Have a signed copy of black as well from Scott Bond. I DJ for fun and my mixing style is heavily based on his style. Cheers from the US.

Personally this was he End of the greatest era of the written history of human civilization. Not even kidding. Just think about the late 90's after the depression. After WW2 we had Rock, then PSY&/hippies then pUnkK and even heavy metal and grunge, but also lounge, rap, disco aaaaand motherfcuking TECHNO!!!

Anyone have the real first release without the remixes. Thank you for this but when you've heard the original for so long it's jarring. It's shorter but perfection. I don't even do drugs.

I have/had(?) this exact CD but it was only 40 minutes long. Pretty buzzy to know that theres two different versions out there.
I did not know that as I have always had this version. But I do know that Gatecrasher( which is on this channel) had two different versions and I think the first one Gatecrasher Black had two also. No matter which Gatecrasher you listen to tho they were all brilliant. imo. 👍
