The team is the same as 6 years ago..... Core5 and some changes around the fringes and questionable goal tending. So anyone who expects a different result is dreaming. Bourne is wrong that they can be a Cup Contender..... they 100% do not have what the will and grit to get thru multiple rounds.
Let Marner walk. Make room for McDavid. Pay McDavid whatever you're paying Marner and Tavares right now. Trade a few prospects and Robertson next off season if Oilers know they have to trade him for something.
