Honestly I'm not sure about max stack shoes for technical trails. It just seems like an ankle injury waiting to happen. Although it depends on what you call technical. Here in the UK it feels every trail run I do would be considered technical by some standards but I don't consider them to be.
Super excited about Topo's new offerings. I recently tried on the Topo Mtn Racer 3 and Pursuit 2, and was loving the toebox in both. Is there anything about new road shoes from topo? I've been trying to find info on them. I'm planning on getting the cyclone 2 soon, but I know the 3 is supposed to come out soon.

Yeah technicality is subjective.
Haven't seen or heard anything about the terra venture. I'm hoping for an update to that shoe. My favorite shoe for any distance
They said the other trail shoes were mainly just getting color updates.
