You're the man, Matt Farrah. Love your passion for cars and watches.
As a car guy I totally dig Matt Farrah and the fact that he proudly shows the wear & tear on his watches makes him even cooler.
That unshakable belief in your friend, to say “in 20 years I’ll be very happy that I have a watch that was made by the hands of Cameron Weiss”, made me tear up
One can hear his enthusiasm in his tone. The passion behind his collections and in particular watches is contagious. Thank you Matt. I enjoy his content and his relaxed disposition. So to hear his view of his watch collection is intriguing.
Great content gents.
Keep it rolling
Gary Abrahams his relaxed disposition made it even better. He’s usually kinda hiped up and loud. I like the calmness. Great video though
That perpetual Big Pilot from IWC is breathtaking
I love his comment about dressing down the expensive watches to match the culture of the city. I think his favorite comes down to the Rolex gift from his dad. That is very special.
Love that gold Seiko Turtle
I usually can't stand Matt Farrah but this video made me like him a whole lot more!
Erik Fahlman I don’t know if it made me like him more, but this was definitely better than his usual stuff. 👍🏿
I like him, but also think he's a total douche.
Awesome story... great video
Anyone know the name of the Seiko at 7:12 ?
Will Crown & Caliber list my pre-owned Vincero?
I doubt it. But, Matt sure plugged them on his channel which I find extremely ironic. Kinda sucks to see him talk about such nice watches after seeing him advertise for a brand like Vincero.
Hi Russell, Vincero isn't a brand that we currently work with. Let us know if we can help you with anything else though. Thank you for watching!
@@CrownandCaliber BWAHAHA. Is that really a genuine reply? You missed the sarcasm by a mile. LOL
@@CrownandCaliber lmao it was a joke.................................
Watch on the right wrist though?
Great episode! Such a refreshing perspective on watches. It is, in the end, about the companion on your wrist through life's journey.
Great interview Matt seems like a pretty cool dude.
The Watch Lounge this was one of his better ones. He’s generally a pretentious douchebag.
Anyone know the seiko turtle model name at 1:05
Hey ToTheMaxGaming1,
It's a Seiko SRPC44, and it's an AWESOME watch. Thanks for watching!
Amazing.
I am with Matt on the perspective of ‘buying new to create your own watch stories’. Vintage watches can pull you in based on the character of a dial or bezel fade. When a collector can say they are the ‘original owner’ and can describe the ‘how and why’ the watch aged because of x,y,z then that watch becomes immensely more appealing. I understand the desire to collect only the finest examples of vintage watches, but I would rather buy new and put a watch through my daily routine (which includes smashing many door frames, dragging my wrist across a bar top to get another drink, and typing away on a computer...). Wear it, scratch it, love it!
Awesome thanks !
Every Rolex tells a story my friend And I definitely agree with you on I don’t want anyone else’s vintage I will make my own vintage Thanks for the video my friend 😊😊😊
Can you recommend some canvas quality canvas watch straps?
better than hodinkee- talking watches. Great work guys. keep these videos coming.
We need more b-roll with his cats!
I have the same philosophy on vintage watches. Buy a nice one new and take care of it for a long time.
How do you buy a nice new "vintage" watch?
I’ve almost wondered how he got his Sub! Now that I know it’s a really cool story.
Hi Crown & Caliber- Do you think using someone like Mr. Farah in your advertising efforts has helped your brand?
Matt, be my friend.
I don't agree with him on the quartz watches comment, but nonetheless O appreciate his passion for both cars and watches
6:50 my most expensive stuff no one looks at,
Me: yep my Invicta watches for like $89 each get the most looks, no one notices my Grand Seiko $4,000 though lol
100% correct, if RL added JLC on that dial the watch would have sold like hotcakes
Better than hodinkee talking watches. Keep posting more and then channel would grow more!
gym?
Go with quartz and 100m water resistance, you'll be fine with whatever choice you make.
coool
Watta D-Bag, but damn that IWC Perpetual Calendar is boss!
Who the hell is Matt’s dad?
Never would've guessed he was a cat guy.
A quartz is a machine.. a electric machine.. because if its not.. a tesla is not a machine too..
Everything is about taste and not money ... lol
Yet he advertised Vincero watches on multiple videos. Yeah....no.
What no mvmt in your personal collection? Fucking shifty one ehhh...
