  • Hello pals,
I am still skating 2-4 times a week, but not really filming that much :) Fort today there is just a quick catch-up on the liners of my GAWDS Tim Franken Pro skate.
And if you wonder what tent I am skating in - that will probably be my next video :)
    See ya!

You're such a motivation. What a progress! I'm 36 years old. Got back into blading after 25years or even more haha. Time is limited father of two young children. But i really do my free time at the skatepark. Thanks for sharing your progress!

I really had to eat my words on this liner. I hated mine at first. I made one simple change. I swapped out the insole with a medium volume super feet. After about 5 sessions I can honestly say, I was wrong. These liners are much better than I thought originally. You may need to play with the shock absorber and insole to get the fit right for your preference, but they really are a solid liner. Thanks for a great video!

I agree - first days I was not feeling the best with this liner, but I love it now for sure. Had 3-4 sessions in my intuitions and I enjoy them as well. Will put in the Prime liner later to feel the difference if there is any 🙄

Can we get a follow up and detailed review on how you liked the V2 liners jn the Tim franken skates? Ill be doing the same thing whenever my skates arrive and am curious how yours ended up. Also the red liners I've looked at putting in my usd sways due to them being thicker

I can do the follow up, but the quick conclusion is that I am back to the liners that came with the boot. My (ex?) favorite red ones now feel too sloppy for me, I can’t reliably lock on the grinds and the intuitions were somewhat too tall and stiff cuff 🙄

@@VandKoala that's kind of sad to hear. BUT I will say whenever you get the time (no rush) it'd be nice to have a video.
1 it'll help your content lol and
2 im sure others are wondering as well.

@@VandKoala did you ride the V2 without the cuff? did the front of the V2 fit the toe box on the skate better or too much?

Interesting View in the Liner, thinking about buying These or the new upcoming razor SL Graphite, coming from an aeon 60
    What would you suggest?

Both are great skates, I have the Derek Henderson SL first model with the Reign V3. I got increasingly annoying pressure point on Reign V3 in the SLs so I skated them with crown liners.
My son and literally half of the guys in our park are now rolling on SLs and all are very happy. I don’t know what will be the liner on the graphites? If the stock liner ends up being bad you will have to buy something else. I beleive Reigns are about 80 eur or so? Also SLs stock wheels are crap even on a “pro model”.
Now the Tim Frankens or USD 7 are very similar in how they fit, in a soulplate width. Maybe 7th soulplate slides a tiny bit better… maybe.. They have smaller shock absorber than the SLs - if you are doing big drops SLs “wedge” will do a better job.
Otherwise you just have to choose what looks better to you :)

Between My fit and Intuition, which fixes the heel better? @VandKoala

I don't own this version of the prime but in some boots the Intuition has a little better heel lock... But honestly both are not the best in terms of heel lock (for me)...Reign V3 has great heel lock and comes with nice insoles 😉

Have you tried / compared them to the Inution Premium liners?

    • @VandKoala
      @VandKoala  Год назад

Only to the intuitions you see in the picture next to them. They are different. Intuition liners are even stiffer, taller cuff, very hard. I use them in big wheel skates but did not like them for aggressive, while Tim Frankens worked for me very well
