  • Wis. State Trooper Clarissa Justmann is the keynote speaker at the Washington County Law Enforcement Memorial. She recalls March 24, 2015, the day her partner Trooper Trevor Casper was shot in the line of duty.

    As the mother of a LEO, I can only say this... It takes a special kind of person to do this job.
    For most of them it's more, so much more than that. It's a way of life, the reason they go out every day knowing they may not come back, they put themselves between safety and death for people they don't know and never will.
    Police officers are the Angel / warriors for the unknown citizens.

    I have seen the full video up to the shooting 346 just made his first traffic stop of a car with tinted windows during dispatch put out a broad cast of a 211 suspect that just killed someone then 346 spots the car a follows it during this dis patch is trying to get units in the area trooper Clarissa and another trooper Clarissa took off leaving the other trooper behind during shot are being fired then the call come officer down it was 346 ems and fire Dept is a few blocks down they loaded officer in a police suv and rushed him to the awaiting ambulance this was a heart breaking video these brave men and women put there life on the line to protect us

    I was at Trevor Casper's funeral and I will never forget the sacrifice he made for the community he served. God bless all who wear the badge. And THANK YOU.!

    It's heartbreaking that good cops end up dying in the line of duty. It's disgusting that these nasty little trolls come out of the woodwork to condemn, ridicule and demonize these fine police officers. There will be a reckoning trolls, God see's your heart for what it is. God knows the contempt you have for human life and when the day comes you have to go before God and confess your sins, that's going to be a conversation that will terrify you. I promise.
