Haven't read Family Tree, but Lemire has a habit of getting lazy and occasionally dropping the ball on endings. Plutona comes to mind.

I loved Vengeance of Vampirella when I was in Highschool. Been reading the new Vengeance of Vampirella run and I've been enjoying it a lot more than Priest's run on Vampirella (which I dropped after 10 issues), but I must admit it's more of a nostalgic guilty pleasure.

I enjoyed the writing and story in Basilisk more than Nice House on the Lake. I'll stick with Lake for more issues but the writing and dialogue felt very "Slasher flick cast"
Great 👌 weekly review man!!! I liked The Nice House On The Lake,but I kinda expected something different for some reason.I guess more of a slasher type thing and I feel a lot of other readers will too when picking it up.I do like it,but I am not completely sold on it yet.I have to read at least the next two issues to decide.I do agree with you on the Conjuring comic kinda feeling weird on its pace.It kinda felt off and I felt the backup story was better lol.This is coming for a Conjuring fan.I did notice the coin guy,or whatever he is called was used in one of the Annabelle movies I believe.That is kinda what I liked about it.That character I like.I find him creepy in that movie.It was the part with the girl in the kitchen and the coins dropping.That was very creepy like i said.I do have hope in this comic and I feel the next issue might be a lot better.

Heroes Reborn....nothing is essential? That's great.
If I'd known that, I might have put some of them on my pull.
I quit events due to confusion of figuring how many dozens of comics are essential and which ones aren't. On Marvel's last event, the most enjoyable comics were the one shots which didn't really have much to do with the event.
I started the recent Vampirella series and am enjoying it. I think the trade is called Seduction of the Innocent.

Ram V's DC work lately is about a mile above anything else going on at the Big 2--and to think, it may not even be the best stuff he is doing in comics overall.

Yo, man, great video as usual. As far as Vamperella goes the early 70s stuff is good. I saw a video on Casually Comics that looked at Vamperella Vs. Re-Animator 4 issue mini-series collected in a tpb. Though it looked just a little uneven on the artwork overall her overview convinced me to search out a copy. You should check her video out and see what you think of it. Keep up the great stuff.
