Lake Havasu, Arizona - 2020 Hot Air Balloon Festival

- While winds prevented most hot air balloons from taking flight on Saturday 1/11, on the 12th, several dozen balloon crews took to the skies on Sunday with spectacular weather over Lake Havasu, Arizona. Whether shooting video from the London Bridge where the hot air balloons get up close and personal, the channel channel waterway, downtown or near the Crazy Horse RV park, the views were fantastic! We also have some footage of the local colorful post-holiday nightlife.

Oh this looks like so much fun. I will have to put it on my bucket list of To Dos. I want to ride in the Unicorn balloon!
And I'm sure if you linked up with some of the flyers, they would certainly be happy to have you join them! And while some like the Mushroom have huge balloons, the size of the passenger basket can be quite small (two seater) - so aside from having a favorite, also consider which might have a bigger basket for 6+ and have room for an extra spectator. Thank you for the feedback and sharing your passion! You certainly like in a spectacular area and we'd love to be snow birds in Lake Havasu for half of the year. Unfortunately, I didn't do enough study to take one of my (three) drones up, mistakenly thinking the nearby airports had 5 miles of controlled airspace. But after reading you comment, after looking at AirMap I see that they are General Aviation airports so next time I look forward to going airborne!

Enjoyed meeting you on Meant to be RVing. Wow I can't believe I've been missing this for several years now. I love Hot Air Balloons! Great footage. I wouldn't want to be in a boat. It would be hard to drive it safely. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
