- Hunting is a Family Traditional for the Lemkes and this hunt is a perfect example of that. Headed into the 2021 season, Alison and Bryan set a goal for "Ali" to shoot her first whitetail buck with a bow. Hard work along with the support of family and friends finally allowed the STARS to ALIGN!

What a beautiful buck! Wow! Congratulations!!!
Thank you!
What a awesome deer . Even though the shot was back a little , it happens . Congratulations .......
A hunt you should definitely be proud of .
Thanks
160" as your first deer! That’s amazing! Congrats!
Thanks 👍
Took me 21 bow seasons to kill a 160. Your off to a hell of a start
I love your generosity, and love the family involved. I'm very very happy you guys recovered that huge giant buck. Congratulations 🎊 what a Amazing first Buck 🦌
Thank you so much!
Congratulations Ally,
Harvesting your first buck with a bow is an indescribable experience.
I really very much enjoyed watching your hunt.
Thank you for sharing this awesome and exciting bow hunt!
Nice to know someone in Minnesota let’s deer grow to there potential. There’s good genetics here but too many 2 and 3 year olds get blasted every year.
Yes. A lot of young bucks do get harvested but a trophy is in the eye of the beholder.
To.many 1 year olds getting blasted. Mn is very bad for if it's brown it's down guys
@@zekeoutdoors 3 years ago I caught video of a yearling that had 2 doe with him that were also his age. He was a mainframe 8. 2 days later a guy with a shotgun killed him. His inside spread was easily 14"!
@@TheDeerSociety you are absolutely right! I have 2 young hunters both were 12 (last year first year) and our neighbors (we have 340 they 80) had coranaries last year I ENCOURAGED to harvest whatever. My stepson got a 2.5yo 10pt 15.5" inside with his xbow on Halloween. I think I'm more proud of him then he is. His friend (who i mentor cause his dad doesn't hunt) shot a 1.5yo 8pt on the 2nd day of gun (Sunday before Thanksgiving). The neighbors did the right thing to both boys n congratulated them. To me later they complained about shooting small bucks. I haven't harvested a buck in 3 years cause I haven't gotten a big one in range or where I could make an ethical shot. I simply smiled at them n stated the truth my kids will shoot whatever they want till they turn 16. Then we will start putting some restrictions on them slowly cause we don't wanna burn them out. But they both have their sights set on big ones this year!
Get on some private property
Soo awesome! Congrats!! Great Job Bryan and even more Ali!!
Thanks so much!!
Nice to see a family celebrate a hunt that provides food for your family . That is old school American ways
Congratulations 🎊
I am deer hunter too and I love in Minnesota too
Beautiful deer, that’s for sure! Love that the family gets involved too! Gotta teach em young!
Lance for MVP!
Great buck gratz to all!
Congratulations on your first buck, I can only imagine what that feels like. Props.
Thanks 👍
Great episode on a giant buck! Love that she uses Badlands Approach camo!
Congratulations on a great buck!
Fantastic deer! Also this is a great example of waiting the right amount of time to go track a deer with a bad shot.. as a tracker I see it way to often people go in to early and bump the deer out of its first bed , if they were to wait most likely they find them dead in their first bed , great job!
Thanks!
Cool deer. Bro got lucky that evening.
I can’t wait to see videos of you and your kids
Great buck and great story. Congratulations heck of a first buck!
Yes it was!
Lol..
I yelled out loud at work, LIVER!!!🤣
I said exactly the same thing. Beautiful buck, glad they found it.
Congratulations Ally! Great buck!!
Wow what a amazing video congratulations what a stud. Hard work pays off.. good luck in the coming seasons.
That’s an awesome first deer!
You have my utmost respect for allowing your wife to take the trophy buck instead of taking it yourself. Kodos
@ The Deer Society.....Great job on a great buck! What a stud!
Ally is shooting to my draw weight. If she can't hold her bow straight out and pull it straight back it's too heavy. I know this from personal experience and my wife. She can draw 50lbs but the same way ally drew her bow. It cost answer a stud (178" 12pt) cause she sat in the cold for 5 hours n was to cold to draw. Backed her down to 40lbs and 3 days later she killed her 3rd total.... 199" 16pt in -3degree temp
I have gone hunting since 1986 with my dad but was never as fortunate as you cos I've never shot a dear or another wild animal. I'm 48 now. Envy you!
Great video. Great story. Glad u found that buck. Dandy! Congrats
Very nice buck! Congratulations to you and your Dad on 2 nice deer. I really enjoyed watching the hunt
I remember as a new bow Hunter wonder if I would ever make a good shot on a deer. This was literally after harvesting 6 or 7 deer. Keep your head up. Stay focused, it gets better. Biggest thing I learned is to slow down the moment. Focus on shot selection, and do your best. Congratulations on an amazing first buck!
Awesome job Lemke! Great production and story!! 👍👍
A whirlwind of emotions
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
Awesome congratulations!!!
Nice Buck,,
That’s a crazy first 😮
Just an awesome story! It really encourages me to go out and put my wife on one now!
Good luck to you both!
Good job
WOW! I think my favorite part was seeing the baby kicking and be so excited grabbing at the horns! LOVE THAT SO MUCH! Wish we would have done that when our kids were small! Where you at in MN? We are in SE by Roch.
Awesome story!!
Maybe u can get that big 8 this year on October 18th. Morning hunts on 🦌 that don't have to move much in the early season is like cancer to a bowhunter. I pulled cameras that were up on a 🌳 100 yards apart for 2 weeks in central MN. The best activity was the crack of dawn which was a bummer. Little deer in the evening except for a few adolescent ones which led me to the conclusion that when eggcorn crops r poor u r better to stay out until that magic time in October during that false heat period that Ali capitalized on last year. Congrats on your hunt 👏.
Can’t wait for the season to start here in Texas 😁
Good luck this season!
@@TheDeerSociety Yea thanks a lot😃
Congratulations! Watching fr Alberta CA..👍😍
The worst feeling ever is when you make a bad hit, going from an extreme hight to the lowest of lows. Been hunting for 25 years and i can still remember my first shot on a deer it was a gut shot. S*** happens and you learn from it. Best thing i tell myself to this day is compose yourself for the shot and lose your mind when you see him/her run off with holes their lungs!!!
Fantastic! Congrats!
Thank you!
beautiful first buck!!!
Good looking g deer congratulations
awesome story! congrats!!
Thank you!!
Nice buck
Buck fever. Lucky recovery
Good story nice job congrats
Nice deer, especially for a first buck!
Not to take anything away from the advertising, I’ve never tried the phase scent control… but I would say it had more to do with the proximity, and your scent blowing over the buck. If a deer gets truly downwind nothing you put on is covering the stink of human. At most you can hope the smell is minimized enough so that they believe you’re further away or were there earlier in the day and scent is fading.
My first buck was 2 pointer
Got any advice for hunting public land?
Awesome job!! What Broadhead are you shooting?
Pretty picture that deer was at a gun show 2 years ago
How many acres is your property? Interstate to know since these deer held up so well for so long. Great footage!!
Great deer
Thanks 👍
What a beast congrats to ur wife
Anyone know what’s kind of cameras they are using? I am using cuddeback and it just seems that my picture are no where near as clear as theirs! Or maybe it could be something with me settings?
Reveal by Tactacam
Awesome story guys! I would offer one recommendation to hunters out there. Get a couple of does under your belt.
Good call!
i would have fell out my climber if this joker walked out in front of me 😂😂😂
Where is your bow while tracking?
Congratulations very nice buck.
Thanks!
Where did she hit him? High and back I see but did it hit the femoral artery leading to the back legs?
So why did you want your wind blowing towards the corn if they were bedded in there?
They don't let them get that big/old in SC
What are you using to mount your Tactacam to the tree ???
They have many mounting options you can checkout on their website. Give them a look!
What is the scent control you are using?
PhaZe and PhaZe for Her by illusion systems.
What are you using as a milkweed dispenser?
It’s called Windfloaters. A phaze product made by illusion systems.
Beautiful buck ma'am. I know that but wrenching feeling on a shot like that. Its heartbreaking and makes u sick to your stomach. But the key thing is time.
You got that right
Getting your first deer is great, getting à giant for your fisrst deer is indescribeable. Where do you go from here ....
Nice buck congratulations nice family also GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Did it spoil?
Nope. All meat was recovered, cleaned and processed right away.
@@TheDeerSociety Glad to hear. I hate losing meat. Down here in the south most times it would have spoiled over night.
💯💯🤟👊🙏🦊,,, so Cool,
You ate that deer ? I hope it was still good 😢 i wouldve came back 6 hrs later around midnite to get it
Edgar rigoberto zambrano hunting
It is cool it’s awesome u get to hunt with your wife
Some people got all the luck. I just keep sitting in the woods and 20 min later they runaway scared. I'm ready to die
Struggling too much pulling back….
It happens, good recovery tho.
She is a great shot. Emotions of a first buck are hard to replicate on the range but Alison held it together pretty well.
@@TheDeerSociety that's weird almost every person I've ever took honey told me they did not get nervous shooting their first Buck or deer neither did I it wasn't till after I shot the first buck I realized how much I liked it then every deer after that I was a mess
At ten yards man
Nice deer, especially for a first buck!

ALSOME good job. That what I mean. You could of shot that Deer 2 years ago.A good hunter is not Judge buy what he shoot But buy what he does not shoot.God bless.
Nice buck but I feel like there more to the story
We try to add as much detail as possible to our videos. Not sure what we would have missed here.
Well I don't know how about you with a camera actually tracking down the bed showing the shot placement of where she actually hit the deer where it actually exited to me that's the most important thing like you're not going to show the shot placement
You should make her practice her aim more before just taking her out. Absolutely amazing deer and congrats but horrible horrible shot. Don't just take her out to get a deer. That's how you end up with bad shots.
I hate that you left that deer overnight. That’s a shitty way for it to die. I say this as someone that has a few steaks left in my freezer from my husband’s 2021 deer and looking forward to (hopefully) mounting his 2022 Buck. I think you could’ve handled that better and found it and killed it that day instead of letting it slowly bleed to death from a gut shot overnight.
Also what was the temperature out… can you even still eat it?
