      Bad owners!!...if you can't control your animal you should not have it. I own 2 but if one ever even tried to nip anyone or showed any aggressive behavior.I would be accountable, And unfortunately would have to make the decision. And it doesn't matter if it's a pit bull or not. You cannot have animals out of control.

      Enforcement of leash laws doesnt help this, it sounds like the dog got loose from its owner.
      That being said the owner has proven now multiple times they have zero control or ability to control a dog, they should not own one or be allowed to own one.

    The poor dog is a result of a stupid irresponsible owner. Owning a dog requires proper dog obedience training. Too many people think they can train a dog and don't have a clue about the continued consistent training that needs to continue through the dogs life.

    • @summerfieldmartin912
      @summerfieldmartin912 9 месяцев назад +9

      Or it's just a vicious dog that attacks small children. These dogs, often pitbulls, cannot be trained out of it. No matter how good an owner they have no matter how much training they've had if they get the opportunity they will always attack.

    • @smartwatchonpluto
      @smartwatchonpluto 9 месяцев назад +1

      No. The dog is a known aggressive animal. Like judge Judy says, there are numerous dogs. Every er and police officer will make records of attacks with dogs and the breed of the dog. They add it all up and make a list. These are at the top of the list, and not by a difference of a few hundred. But like thousands. Insurance companies don't cover them. Most places bann them. All the owners were bad? No. The dog is sweet 90% of the time. But then. One day. Sweet little biscuit got out and ripped the face off of a 5 yr old. They are dangerous. They are a risk. And you are an enabler. Stop buying the bs. The dogs were bred to be this way. It's not an owner thing. It's the breed.

    Poor little guy. People who say there are no "bad dogs" say that after your child is mauled by a dog. Obviously it's the owners responsibility but there are vicious dogs that will just continue to attack if given the opportunity. The dog needs to be taken out of the neighborhood.

      Right??!!

    • @TEDOGIRL02
      @TEDOGIRL02 9 месяцев назад +3

      It’s not the dog’s fault but he will pay the price. Where is the double fencing? Why isn’t he neutered? 99% of these dogs in attacks are intact. That’s where it starts. Then living conditions and socialization play a role. I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and there have even been tiny puppies we recommended for euthanasia due to extreme aggression. It’s mostly upbringing, but heredity also plays a role. If intense and swift training isn’t obtained, these dogs are destined to die.
      I have personal experience with an aggressive dog. Mine was bottle raised, so I sent him with friends for sleepovers in order to socialize him with other dogs. He grew up in my clinics. Even so, his instincts kicked in at 14 months and did a 180. He became protective of me and his kennel to the point I started talking to trainers. I had to have one come to my house to work with him.
      Thankfully the worst was resolved and he is still loud and barks or growls through doors, but once around ppl a few minutes he calms down and gets them a toy. He will be 11 years old next month and I’m glad I didn’t have to put him down. I considered it as a responsible owner, though.

    I inherited a dog, who is sweet, when not in her territory, and only if you're not a stranger.
    Luckily, if she does try to attack, I've noticed she only tries to act mean. This doesn't mean she won't take a chunk, if she decides to, but she basically will try to nip, and will bark and growl, while she lunges. She's going to a trainer, as soon as im able to get her there (next couple months), and until then, she us in my room, or on her leash, out back, and i watch her.
    It sucks, because she's a really lovable, funny dog, but she is fear aggressive. Her former owners were addicts, and left her in their room, 24/7, with occasional pitty breaks, when they were awake (which was rare). If you approached the door, she would go ballistic, and she still does, if someone is down here, in this area.
    I have to keep my door closed, at all times. Sucks, because there us no air circulation, in here, but it is, what it is. Either that, or she will be put down, when i have to give her to Animal control.😒
    She's trainable, but it's finding the right trainer, and it's not going to be cheap.😡

    I once got attacked by a stray dog that a family member had. I know that dog was just scared from how it had been treated and had to survive. It didn’t know who to trust. After it attacked me, I knew it would sadly be put down and it wasn’t a pit bull. But, I didn’t call tv stations to get it on the news. Different dogs attack for different reasons. I was walking my Terrier & my neighbors pit busted through their door going after my dog. So I grabbed my tiny dog held her in my arms to protect her. The pit jumped at me to try to get her & I kicked the pit, that was a mistake. The pit but into my calf & pulled me to the ground, slinging me around while I tried to kick with my other leg. Finally the owner came out & got his dog. My terroir survived, I wound up in the ER with stitches & the animal control put the dog down. I still have nightmares, they are so powerful dogs. Don't forget. Yes, it does matter how a pitbull is taken care of but at the end of the day, pitbuls are made to take down their target. So if they have a moment where they want to take someone down, they will go for it. I wouldn't say it's a family dog. However, to me it's more of a family guard dog. Yes, pitbuls can be the sweetest things. But like I said if they wanna tear you up. They will, and they are very capable.

    Please don't blame pitbulls in general. They are extremely easy to train. If you train one to attack, they will. My pitbull is is such a mild mannered girl. But we treat her well with lots of love.

    Stupid people like this that don't give their dogs any behavior training give this breed such a bad name. No bad dogs just bad owners. Pitbulls are such loving dogs.

      No I am tired of hearing this. There are aggressive breeds that absolutely produce more dogs who are capable of attacking without provocation. Pit bulls are one of these and you need to stop lying about it.

      My brother has a Pitbull/Boxer mix, male, and that dog is so gentle it's sweet, very well mannered, and goes absolutely bonkers for children, a kid comes in the house, that kid is his until the kid goes home, he's so gentle you can literally take food out of his mouth, so it's my opinion if a dog shows aggression, it's learned from the "owner"

    Why they aren't banned in America yet is beyond me.

      Because its not the dogs fault but owners.

      Bro the dog is a result of the owners- pit bulls aren’t even responsible for that many attacks. Take into account how many of those dogs had incompetent or downright abusive owners and the picture gets even clearer.

      OWNERS are the problem

      im with you. sure its the owners fault hut its the same thing as bad credit. we cant trust the owners will be responsiblem if u have bad credit, you may not get to enjoy all the benefits of someone who does. theres no way to tell if an owner will he a good one so why allow them to have a pitbull that could end up hurting others.
