Excellent review. Thank you. Brand new into this so I am very grateful to you that I found this video. I will look at your other videos. I'm going purchase the same set. You covered everything needed. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing. All of my pencils were worn down so I invested in a few Nicpro mechanical pencils. I was pleased with them. They came with colored lead as well as HB graphite.2.0 mm. A great deal at Amazon.Once I put it to paper I couldn’t stop. I give it 2 thumbs up.
Nice review. The Nic Pro pencils are an excellent value for the money. I bought a set that compares fairly well to the Pentel Twist Erase pencils. Plastic bodies, 2 x 0.5, 2 x 0.7, extra leads, extra erasers, two block erasers. They are well made, comfortable to use for long periods, and the leads are pretty good. Loading leads and erasers is the same as the Pentels. The wider grip is a lot more comfortable for those of us with arthritis. Hard to beat for $11.
I have both as well, so I concur. A light touch helps regardless of which. For art, thinner is better, unless working fast, loose, and large. Then it’s the 5.4m. You are also right on lead quality. Thanks man.
I bought a nice pro set of 4 mechanical pencils and 2 clutch pencils plus it came with the usual extra leads and erasers. I'm very pleased with it. Can't beat the price. Only wish that they made a set of 4 mechanical pencils and 4 clutch pencils as I really like to use both. Bought my set on Amazon. 😊
How do you re-assemble these? the cap (pointy cone thing that the lead come through out of) on my 0.9 came off and i dont know if it's broken or there's a way to put it back on
Yeah that would be something; however, I acquired an excellent travel pencil case. So, sorry. But catch that video here. ruclips.net/video/uVvtYMj6sDg/видео.htmlsi=CUO4yI_I18cttKmm
My eraser has be run down so it was hard to remove from the pencil which caused it to be pushed into the socket more and get stuck. I've tried carving it out but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I need to put lead in my pencil. Any ideas how i can either get the eraser out or put the lead in from another place?
hold down on the top like you would pushing the led out and take the new let and push it through where the led comes out (ik this is 2 months ago so you prolly solved the problem but i hope this helps anyways)
It the end has an eraser, pull that off and you should gain entry. Otherwise, without seeing this model, it's impossible. What did you model did you get, I can look it up?
You shouldn't need instructions. You either put the lead in under the eraser, or up the front. If you remove the eraser, and find no hole, then it's up the front. It isn't like there are many options.
Yea, I don’t get it. I can’t use anything less than a 7 or 9. Don’t even get the idea behind a 3. I suppose 3’s &/or 5’s have their place but honestly AND realistically I couldn’t be bothered to develop technique’s or reasons to waste my time and/or patience to adapt to or find an occasion that forces me to even consider using them let alone actually purchasing one unless it’s already a part of the pkg. Total waste of time. If you can already draw, you can accomplish whatever you might need or want them for on whatever you already have with minimal effort. Not a priority. Just my opinion of course. I suppose you could use them to practice sketching and light drawing techniques with them though. I could imagine that being somewhat helpful to some folks. Great learning tool. So, there’s that. I prefer ending on a positive tone :) Edit: Dammit. So, what did you think of the NicPro? I was too busy putting my mind numbingly-irrelevant 2 cents worth into the discussion despite anyone even asking for it and completely missed it. Lol! Back to the beginning I guess. Lol
Wow, imagine how i feel just having bought an 0.2 because my 0.3's are too big for fine work! LOL. I actually stated out with an 0.7 but couldn't stand the way the line width varies as the point wears, it IS easy to just rotate the pencil as i write/draw but an 0.5 is just the best middle ground for me.
I've recently got this set and I was drawing on my 0.5 and I ran out of led. So like any other person, I got my 0.5 led and I took of the eraser placed it in and started to press down (like how you would press down for it to click and then the led comes out) it didn't work, I double checked my led and it was the correct size so I wasant sure why it didn't work. I've tried taking it apart that didn't work so what should I do :(
Make sure there isn't a small piece of the old lead still left in the point end of the pencil (not an unusual occurrence), that will keep the mechanism from picking up the new lead. Some pencils come with a clean out wire attached to the back end of the eraser to stick down the point end while pressing the clicker down. That will push the short broken piece out into the barrel. If yours doesn't have that wire insert a new lead though the point end (carefully) while holding the clicker down to clean the piece out. If that doesn't work the barrel receiver in the point may be broken. Good luck.
this actually seems like the most genuine reveiw on the platform

You made my day Allen. Thanks.

Wow that’s really cool. Have fun!
Thanks for vid...simply presented and comparisons most welcomed...I had hesitated on purchase...your vid covered it all...Thank you...new subscriber
Glad it was helpful! I just purchased a 5.6mm clutch pencil and some new lead. Thinking there might be some interest for that??? What do you think?

I have never taken one apart. Sorry.
Make a video getting it back in its case. 6 piece set.

@@Mity_Moose thank you but where is the link for the case?

Um,,,Wowzer!!! Well, you can always add one at a time in the other end. I think i did that on this video? Hope that helps.
Get a one of those needle thumbtacks and poke it in and try to pull it out that’s how I got mine out
hold down on the top like you would pushing the led out and take the new let and push it through where the led comes out (ik this is 2 months ago so you prolly solved the problem but i hope this helps anyways)
What I did was get a thumbtack, stab the eraser until it kind of like, picks up the eraser and boom it's out
@@Random._User_.27 yeah, that’s sounds fun
Are these decent for the price?
Well there is subjective and an objective answer for that. Yes for both.
Just received a pen with numerous size leads, but no instruction on how to put the lead into the pencil!!

nice pencils is it all metal body.
Yes
I bought the full set 😁
Hope you enjoy it!
@@Mity_Moose thank you it comes tomorrow and I am super excited
Was it good?
@@packsate9604 Got mine a wk ago, and yes, I like them.
Some hero’s don’t wear capes
My 0.9 came jammed. I can’t un-jam it. :(
Now that makes no sense. Hmmm! Maybe they will refund. NEVER heard of a jam before. Must be broken.

Your rant is spot on actually. Maybe this calls for a 3 lead art project. Yes?
@@Mity_Moose I suppose it could be argued that I might learn their worth if I was a professional artist. Lol! Cheers.
