Nic Pro has some really cool knulled grip ones on Amazon think Ill pick some up. I already iwn everything out there from Pentel Smash to Mars technico and vintage trupoint sharpners
I have 3 from the 6 piece set and while not as well built as my favorite Steadtler 780 they are worth the price. The lead not so much though. You should give NicPro's erasers a try, they're soft like more expensive charcoal art erasers which is funny considering the lead is more of a writting grade than drawing.
I tryed to save money by bying "cheap" lead holders, but I regreat it every day. The cheap ones are just not nice to hold and because they are for drawing it is hours of daily frustrations with these. But I do love my Steadtler (I have to kinds) and the Mitsubishi MH-500, and I have some Koh-i-Noor (also very nice). These are only a little more expensive, but soooo mush nicer. The ones from Faber-Castell are... well, I understand if not everybody find the FB-lead holders as good as Steadtler.... And then there is Rotring and Caran d'Ache .... so nice, but expensive
@@LazyStory I recently bought a Blick studio clutch 2 mm and have to say it's pretty nice with a few features even the Steadtler doesn't have. Like a locking lead grade window, longer knurling at the grip and a matte finish that feels nice ti hold. they run about US $10 each.
It comes out like that because it's a "Clutch" pencil, not a "mechanical" pencil,,,,clutch pencils are also known as lead holders,,,yes graphite not lead but they call them that,,,they're called clutch because of the way it hold the graphite at the end,,it clutches it,,,great review though!
