10 years ago when I lived downtown Toronto, I could walk 4 kms to my office in 50 minutes. At that time, TTC was at least hour on a good day. I can only imagine it's gotten worse.
It’s a problem for sure. Especially for bus-100. 4 in a row is just too bad. There are times when broadview station runs out of space for people to stand. Hope this gets resolved.
Bunching is the norm on Warden ave, Victoria park ave, Finch ave & Sheppard ave. And I am not saying that because I live on and use those routes like everyday.😂😂
Make them 10 minutes for regular service and 10 minutes for express, including put more buses for night service, 15-30 minutes wait is not worth it during overnight service They should have a timer on their buses so they stay at the 10 minute mark
You don't need people to monitor bus spacing GTFS Realtime data(what's used by google maps, and provided by TTC) should be enough. There is already GPS on the busses it should really be a simple script.
This happens all over the GTA. The Viva/YRT routes does this as well. I will be waiting 16 minutes for a bus for two to show up at once. This happens to me at least once a week and I only take the bus 3 days out of the week.

The city is talking about implementing Congestion pricing, even though TTC is so un-reliable and this includes all forms of TTC transportation. Go to any station where Streetcars dock, you could see the driver literally wasting time for 20 mins before start driving the streetcar like they don't care if they are behind schedule departure time. Funding is not the issue, Laziness among all the TTC employees is the issue, this includes track repair personnel as well.

Finch west was atrocious for this 'bunching' (bus convoys) and short turning busses too

There needs to be more communication between operations, Staff and the people in charge of the logistics.

If you knew why there are 2-3 buses arriving at the same time after a 4 minute delay, you wouldn't be complaining.
