Oh my gosh! I love this so much! I took on a project use popsicle sticks and some other wood strips. My challenge was to make a doll house and build it with nothing but scraps. I made all of the furnace, rugs, door decorations and more from “ junk” around the house. It blew peoples minds when they learned it was popsicle sticks, toothpaste caps, cardboard sofa made with some old material and stuffed. Every season I change the decor. The popsicle stick house lights up, the shades can be moved up and down. The bathtub is made with the bottom of a cleaning bottle, and the realistic looking toilet was made with layer upon layers of card stock cut on my cutting machine and caressed line up and glued together. Your ever so cool home for the Halloween shenanigans is so fantastic. Later I did buy a doll house kit but gave up on it as I grumbled about what it took to keep the pieces together and the frustration I endured. Bless you for having the patience to not only build this but the follow through is impressive. It was worth every second you spent. Heck, I may even give my partially put together doll house another go. I must admit, even though many have been impressed by my popsicles doll house they still had the nerve to say this shite,” It’s fantastic, you must have too much time on your hands.” My reply is, “ Sure I do because I don’t run around for hours playing Pokémon Go, playing video games and obsessing over TikTok videos.”
That’s amazing! I think I honestly would have been less frustrated and felt more accomplished going that route…your attention to detail sounds incredible!
@@BeeJayDeL awww… thank you. Honestly, it’s not half as cool and good looking as the one you did. It will be cherished for many years to come. Just change up the decor like I do and you’ll be sure how it becomes a family fun project. I’ll try to find some pictures of mine so you can see it’s not nearly as impressive as yours.
Dude! The commitment to such drudgery is so admirable, and (as someone who is post-mid-life-crisis) relatable. Thanks for sharing the experience! 😎 Maybe next time?? Buy a Vette?
I remember wearing those costumes. I wanted to be a witch and the hat was molded into of the mask. Wearing the vinyl costume was uncomfortable you had to wear something under them and by the end of the night I was a sweaty little 6 yr old.
Years ago my mom and I built one of those craft store dollhouses, to include the shingles. We made a bear house. I don't have room to display it but won't get rid of it since it took SO much to build! Loved my friend's stormtrooper costume with the plastic mask, but my favorite costume my mom made (she's very crafty). Shark costume, my face looked out of the open mouth. The next year we saw a pattern company had released a VERY similar pattern. Guess we should have put a patent on it!
Yeah…the shingles were RIDICULOUS! Saw the bag of 950 unpainted/unstained shingles and winced. Found the dye they recommended at the store with the directions printed on the back and noped-out when I got to the part that read “then on day four or five of the dying process….” Pass!!! Your shark sounds cool!
Growing up in Michigan in the 70’s and 80’s…. We had devils night then Halloween. You captured this artistic project in spades! How fun! There’s those Halloween town items you can find at Menards and such… like miniature animations, carnival things… they are super cool as well. Did you say you’re in Ohio? Me too. Dover. I see you have some Michael Myers masks as well… a buddy and me back in 2006 did some masks called the ‘buried’ series… based on the RZ film version. I still think the “destroyer” version of the mask, is the best! Anyway… Well done my friend! Keep on- 💀👻🎃
Thanks…I appreciate it!! I actually did hit up Menards for this project, but unfortunately all of their miniatures were just too “miniature”, lol…scale was just too small. And yup, have a few MM masks…most are Trick or Treat Studios except for the RZ masks ones which are higher end customs (one on the shelf is a Julio Portillo and the one on the mannequin is a FXCA Studios Decay version.) Hands on the mannequin are from Nick Mulpagano. Are you still making other masks or did you just make those back then?
Just did them back then… my partner, dela tore did the majority of them! ruclips.net/video/vp1JmdyUxFQ/видео.htmlsi=ha11HsFcpQTfr5b_ Great job on ALL of the content you give! 👏🏻🫵🏻
This is awesome! I have those figures too, lovem. I’m a big Halloween fan(partly due to my bday being Oct 30) always have been. Wish I had the patience for something like this lol great display!
Hi Bj, I was just wondering if you had plans to ship the Pro-Draw glove to Australia in the near future? I have the grip but would also love the glove 🙂
I totally had one of those costumes as a kid, I was the peach character from the strawberry shortcake. I ended up getting a horrific rash all over my face (doctor said it was an allergic reaction to the mask) worst Halloween costume ever!!!
What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? Let me know!

So much sweat!
I would have to say Lion-o or He-Man were my favorite costumes as a kid. I can still smell the plastic. 😂
Yes! And that smell! It still sticks with you after all these years lol

Crazy 😎!
😜 thanks!!!
@BeeJayDeL You're welcome!
Almost every Halloween I wore the witch costume - not sure if they were Ben Cooper brand here in Canada but they looked exactly the same!! 🎃
I love that one!
Great work ! Surprised NECA doesn't do stuff like this for sale

Hi Bj,
I was just wondering if you had plans to ship the Pro-Draw glove to Australia in the near future? I have the grip but would also love the glove 🙂
Actually, model building is super fun if your naturally inclined to do the process 😂
…Batman. But I didn’t have any issues with breathing as I cut off the face part of the mask to have my own face exposed.
Classic!
I totally had one of those costumes as a kid, I was the peach character from the strawberry shortcake. I ended up getting a horrific rash all over my face (doctor said it was an allergic reaction to the mask) worst Halloween costume ever!!!
Oh no…that sucks! (And here I go posting a video that makes you relive that childhood trauma!) 🤣🤣🤣
@@BeeJayDeL totally worth it !
