Love this ship. Went on it at the beginning of August! One of my favorite things is when you go into the garden cafe the workers give you some kind of hand sanitizer and say washy washy happy happy. They also say in the morning wakee wakee coffee coffee!
Recently came off the Bliss. Magnificent ship; it has become our favorite. One note: the Observation Lounge is quite nice, but it is on only one deck, Deck 15. It is massive, wrapping around nearly half that deck, but lovely. There is indeed a 2-deck-high observation lounge aboard, the Horizon Lounge, on decks 17 and 18 and open exclusively to Haven guests. We had a Haven stateroom and I found the Horizon Lounge breathtaking - it's my favorite spot on the ship.
Whatever gimbal you're using for your camera... it works great! You've got beautiful stable video without any shakiness. A lot of people are posting Bliss ship tours... yours is one of the best looking.
It certainly is a big and beautiful ship. Does appear to be so many exclusive or speciality areas that you wonder if you in a cabin with no perks and didn’t want to spend you may only have access to half of the ship. Great video, thanks for the tour!
Ok, so there is an upcharge for the adults only but what about all the specialty restaurants? Is there a special or separate charge for dining there? Some of the cruises I have attended in the past all food was included is that the same on this ship. Never used Norwegian before.
I absolutely loved your video. I just got off Breakaway which I thought was beautiful but Bliss is stunning. You’ve inspired me book a cruise on Bliss early next year. Thank you!
I've been on the NCL escape, and I loved it. This ship looks cool, except for that go-kart racing, could those go-karts be going any slower? I'm sure you could out walk them
Wow, it is so beautiful ship! I went on NCL last 2019 .....Norweigain Escape was very nice, too! Never forgot that I was like wow..... dropped my jaws on the floors was shocked how huge the ship is
@@bobdonnell9142 thank u very much ….. smile. Yes, I am positive trying to be positive and happy because I love to look on RUclips….. no needed to be negative….. anyway thank you again
Steve Roth It was epic I came back today and have to share it there was a neat pool pf saltwater and a room of ice to cool your blood and Levity live was great not spoiling the best parts Enjoy!
A most beautiful ship with two great new features. One being a go-cart race track. I like the Breakaway feature of having a movie screen in the atrium, in addition to one in the pool area. You don't always want to go to the pool area to see a movie. I just can't wait for my cruise on this new ship.
Thanks for the quick video. We are bringing my in laws and our daughter and her husband on in February and can’t wait! Just one question and one comment. Question: did you take any video of the food from new specialty restaurants? Comment: video needs more of you in it also! You guys are great in your videos! Thanks for the work you do!
Thanks, Ed for your comments! We took some video in the Food Republic which you can see in the tour. We also ate at Los Lobos which was delicious but we didn't film.
Our first NCL cruise was Sept 1994 on the Windward to Alaska-also our first Alaskan cruise. We saw the Bliss last year on its first day in Seattle. It’s a monster! Too many people for our liking, we prefer fewer than a 1000.
Sailed on the Bliss in March of 2019, A fabulous ship with so many amenities. Would I cruise with that ship again? I'd say no. I think the ship is too big, too crowded. It's practically a small city. If you want to book any of the extra features you better do it before you board ship. Frankly, I personally would rather book with a nice smaller ship
Me and my family set sail on the Bliss in March (Xmas gift). This trip was not planed, thanks mom, lol. Thanks for the overview of the ship. I have somewhat an ideal what's the Bliss offer. I be occupied with my son that will be 20 month when we set sail.
My condolences 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I'm late to this just seeing it sorry for your loss I'm also doing a 2020 bliss cruise in feb for two weeks hopefully y'all will still go and enjoy it live it up for him
Hey fellas....did you know that you are in someone else's video of the Bliss? check out "Liveboat Crociere" ... "Ship tour Norwegian Bliss...the new NCL cruise ship" published April 22....you are in the frame at 1:54 :) so cool to see you in another vlog on youtube! love you guys! ;)
Love the videos guys. When cruising on NCL is it possible to take our own bags to the room? If it is possible is it worth it or should we just let the crew bring it to our room?
Great review. Although I didn't see the spa. We just got off of the Getaway last week. This looks like a sister ship to the Getaway and Escape. My only problem with Norwegian is they seem to "nickel and dime" their passengers. And treat their guests in "classes" instead of all inclusive to all guests.
It's a business model. Cruising with NCL is affordable, but some things come at a cost. This means you can cruise with at a reasonable cruise rate and be completely happy with the complimentary food, drinks and entertainment, meaning you won't have to spend more dollars. However if you do want a bigger experience you are free to choose the things you'd like and pay for them.
Monica Huckaby I was going to say the same thing because I’ve been on the getaway twice in the back rear looks the exact same but the getaway has that little pool to the back of the ship
The Getaway is a Breakaway-class ship; the Bliss and Escape are Breakaway-Plus-class ships, so larger and somewhat different from the Breakaway class. The Bliss and Escape even differ from each other in that the Escape, the first of the Plus class, does not have an Observation Lounge (Deck 15) or Haven-class Horizon Lounge (Decks 17 and 18). As to passenger "classes," well, you get what you pay for. For anyone who wishes to spend the extra money, The Haven is magnificent. The staterooms are larger and more luxurious; the sundeck is quite deluxe; the dedicated restaurant is excellent and included in the fare. It's not a matter of "classes" in the old-fashioned sense, but rather a value-added product NCL has been able to very successfully market to interested passengers (MSC and now Celebrity have also gotten into the "ship-within-a-ship" market). It's not that different from having different price points for inside cabins and owner's suites; the latter have long come with extra perks. NCL has just taken that concept the logical extra step. We personally cruise the Haven when we cruise NCL and we love it. I'd rather save for the Haven and take fewer cruises than go with a standard cabin, but there are fare more standard cabins so there is a market for every price point.
does look like a nice ship. last cruise i was on was about 15 years ago. want to take another cruise soon but want to see how much cruise lines have changed over the years. somebody told me when you book a cruise you can get the extra for a "booze" package (not sure what the actual name of it is)
While RCI really pioneered the recreational features NCL is giving them a run for the money. That race track looks wicked cool. As to RCI, the first ship to get the rock wall, promenade mall, and the ice skating rink was the Voyager of the Seas just before Y2K, also the first cruise ship I ever went on. These ships are amazing feats of engineering and I’m so happy we get the privilege to exist at the same time as them
Amazing engine you say especially with “engine failure” occurring causing everyone to evacuate on emergency helicopter lifts.

The movies were very rare on the Breakaway. Screens are mostly used for other entertainment. There is also a theater

it was great
Looks fabulous.
Geoff Almond
I’ve heard the racing and other activities on board have an extra charge, is this true? There certainly seems to be a lot of speciality dining, and it appeared maybe 3 included options?
Rosalyn Schmidt Yes, the Lazor tag and the Go Carts cost $5 each.
the nerve to charge and paid cruise for for their "main attraction"
I’m glad there is a nominal charge. That is the only way of being able to play/race without a multiple hour wait.
Jon Graeser
Well that was atupid. Charge for no long lines. This aint amusement park with 20k people
i just got back from an NCL cruise on the Breakaway. I was surprised that even the arcade (which was empty all the time) charged for each play. I doubt they make much money in there, why not have some entertainment for the kids and some of us older "kids"
How were to go-karts? Decent fun for us adults or are they slow and "safe" designed for kids to drive around with no actual racing/?
love the Italian accent
