It's hard to disagree with Robert Manion, but Cup of Roasted Coffee actually made me notice how good it was when I first watched. Robert Manion is just amazing so even though Show Stopping Number is great, it didn't seem as above expectations as Cup of Roasted Coffee.
Tbh I agree with this mostly but personally I would have put The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals as number 1. I mean I agree that Show Stopping Number has the single best moments in the musical but overall there's just SO MUCH going on in TGWDLM, so many good moments and they all tie together so perfectly, that it rises to the top for me.
I wanted to say the same. From a choreography standpoint it is harder to change places and use slightly different movements and mixing things up that much, than to repeat faster ones. Every song is a small masterpiece in this musical and choreography is something they are great at, so choosing is extremely hard.
Show stoppin’ number is number one in literally every GWDLM ranking I’ve seen and for good reason It should win purely for the move on “the world will come crumblin’ down”
