    As a skater punk from the 80's, I would definitely pinpoint the skateboard magazines advertising the hell out of the Crimson Skull on shirts, stickers and skateboards as the main reason why The Misfits became so popular? There was a period when skulls or skeletons dominated the industry(thanks largely to the Bones Brigade) and to be honest, The Misfits logo was the coolest one of them all. One of those rare cases when the egg came before the chicken.

    Being a bmx/skate punk from the 70's... went from clay wheels to urethane... small deck to wide deck Santa Cruz & Alva... only three years younger than Doyle so yeah... 😂.

    You have to have misfits for everything not just for skating lol. Shit from every band since the early 80s has misfits as one of their bands they look up too.

    Apparently Metal Heads in 2017 aren't any smarter or classy than they were 45+ years ago. This guy is a goof. I've seen him play and he is one cut above horrible. I would say for what he lacks in musicianship he makes up for in personality, but no. LOL.
