When I see Bernard King, I'm taken back to when he dropped 50 in consecutive nights in Texas. I wish current NBA players would watch clips of B. King to see that intensity and fire he played with every time he stepped on the Garden floor!!

Bernard was a BAD MAN.
Bernard King was a scoring machine in those times. Nowadays 50 is kinda common...back then it was rare. If his knees would've held up he coulda been a what if...not cut short.
One of my favorite players even when he first started with the NJ Nets. When I first started reading about his game in the papers, I knew he was going to be a special player in he NBA. Especially as soon as he donned a NY Knicks uniform. As a fan, I always say "What If?" I sadly was watching the game on MSG TV when he blew out his knee. As a young NY Knicks fan, my heart sunk when the news broke out his season was finished.
Not even a Knicks fan but I do hope Clyde Frazier gets to witness another championship banner for his team before he retires for good.

Houston and Sprewell are some seriously underrated players. They took the knicks as far as any player ever has…in the last 50 years anyway.

99 Knicks was the greatest run in my life time.
Best playoff run ever witnessed. 2010 first half was bringing back that same type of pride in the team until trade talks diminished play midseason. When we get rid of Randle, I think I can be a Knicks fan once again.

I feel the same. about King Also felt Grant Hill should of made the cut over say Dame Lillard or Westbrook for now have them on top 100. Just my two cents. And of course if injuries didn't get him Penny Hardaway but he only had those 4 great years. Hill had bad playoffs so I guess thats' why
Seeing those guys made me feel old too. I loved being a teenager in NYC during the 90's and when the NBA was on NBC. We didn't have cable tv so those Sunday double headers was the best. Good ole days. 13 inch tv and the old Knicks loud fans.

@@jaygabbana6852 Well I don’t know about “betrayed” but basically James Dolan the owner is a douche. Ewing was in the Garden as the Georgetown coach (I believe) and security who didn’t know who he was, treated him like a stranger. Could have been an honest mistake but the Knicks organization did 💩 about it. Dolan also banned Charles Oakley from MSG Ewing’s teammate! It’s a joke. The fan base loves those guys and hate Dolan.

You can sense there´s a lot of positivity, these legends seriously believe in this team. Heart, team work, skills, there is everything you need to win and Starks and co. feel we can go all the way this year.
Despite Dolan - not the smartest of owners and hated by fans - the Knicks legends appreciate his franchise has brought in great young players through favorable draft picks and also made some smart big money contracts for the stars in the making like Brunson and Randle. We are gonna stuff Miami, hopefully Philly will then be next in eastern finals.
