But why not include characters that have had no toys since G1, like the Omnibots, the remaining deluxe instecticons, or the cassette combiners as most of your list was very nitpicky of toy for characters that have gotten new toys.
TJOmega granted scorpinok and omega are still a possibility for becoming full on toys especially if hasbro decides to do another pole for the next titan. So let's keep our hopes up
I put priority on characters who were in the original cartoon, major players in the comic book, or when toylines seemed ideal for them but never included them. There's dozens of characters who haven't had a new toy since G1 but most of them were minor players at best in fiction. Kinda hard to argue that Venom needs a new toy more than Scorponok.

Probably a bit of a stretch, but how about an Ultra Magnus that has the inner robot _and_ the more iconic armored mode? And I'm not talking Minimus Ambus, I'm talking the white Optimus Prime. Also Bludgeon, Rodimus Prime, Steeljaw, and, the big one. A proper G1 Omega Supreme.
But it needs to have Omega's _original_ altmode. And Steeljaw's the only one of the Autobot Cassettes to not get a figure compatible with the Titans Return Soundwave/Blaster mold thus far, aside from the combiner.
FWIW, you can have your inner robot Ultra Magnus if you also buy the Perfect Effect add-on kit, PC-17. I have this and while very pricey, completely satisfies the G1 "Armored Convoy" feel.
You and me had the same idea about Runabout and the horrorcons. I'm willing to wait on characters to eventually come out. But when you have the perfect time to bring them out , it's about time you showed the fans some love. Keep making more videos like this. I love listening to others opinions. You should do a top ten Decepticons you want in the POTP toyline. Also one for Autobots too
I'm sad we didn't get Ratchet/Ironhide in Titans Return. We have a line that turns non-Headmaster characters into Headmasters but otherwise sticks very closely to the G1 aesthetic, and we have the guys whose G1 toys were headless.
I honestly thought the same thing about Titans Return. It would be cool to see the headless G1 toy character designs of those characters return as those characters' Titan Master forms, or as you mentioned, as Headmasters for that matter, specifically the Western-style in which the headless body is still a living and sentient Transformer.

And none of Windblade's toys were that good. I still pefer my Iron Factory Windsaber to represent her. The original is fiddly (and mine has bent plastic struts that make it impossible to turn back into a jet now), the TR one has weird proportion and legs and the RID one... the RID one has no paint. And speaking of RID, I'm glad you don't count her legion toy :p that thing is barely a toy hahahaha.
Maybe not the most interesting of Transformers characters, but I would've liked to have seen the Autobot Target masters: Sureshot, Crosshairs and Pointblank get new figures in Titan's Return, I and find it strange that they didn't, since their Decepticon counter-parts did.
Sureshot heck yeah! A dune buggy guy would have been awesome! Speaking of Targetmaster, there's a guy on shapeways who sells replacement backpacks for Titanmasters that give them a 5 mm peg, letting you use them as target master (with the foot pegholes as barrel) and I'm surprise Hasbro didn't think of doing it themselves. It'd be an easy way to turn those guys into targetmasters.
So now, in 2020, I am here to make this list redundant 10: Rumors of the two have been floating around of them being in Kingdom 9: Both him and his "brother" have gotten toys in Earthrise. But I believe Runabout is supposed to be Selects or some kind of exclusive. I agree on Scorponok, mainly because I want them to remold it into Black Zarak, so that we can have a Black Zarak that doesn't crumble to dust if you're anywhere within a 5 mile radius of it

Jarmo Verriet that’s why we have rescue bots for kids like that. You know not all kids actually need a gimmick besides you know the transforming one. That gimmick alone draws kids in.

Speaking of Rewind, seems like a tablet would make a decent-ish stand-in for a camera. Would have been a bit cheap but Rewind into Reflector wouldn't be that hard to do... just change the chest and head and BOOM. Another easy repaint.
It'd be nice to see Tracks again, especially if they can keep the flying car gimmick. A redone Star Saber, maybe using the Fighbird mold (With Victory Leo as Granbird?)

back here from when hoist, wheeljack and ironworks were announced, everyone on his list except huffer and pipes have/are getting new versions, i think hasbro have watched this list and went "lets bring them back"
Nice video! I'm just as - no pun intended - shocked as you about Shockwave not having a Classics figure outside of the Combiner Wars Legends Class figure. I've repurposed Energon Shockblast (the best alternative in terms of size and aesthetics) as G1 Shockwave on my Classics shelf, and while I'm happy with him, it would be great to finally get a Classics Shockwave. Imagine a Power of the Primes Voyager Class Shockwave. Since POTP Voyagers are also combiner torsos, the idea of a Shockwave combiner is too cool to not be a thing!
I know he isn't a G1 character and he got a new toy recently but I think that Tidal Wave could use some more love, a new toy that isn't just a straight recolour with a new head would be absolutely amazing for the guy. Heck, I would even eat up a third party version of the guy.
Ratchet did have a Combiner Wars release, but only in the Takara Unite Warriors line as a recoloured First Aid where he replaced Smokescreen in the Sky Reign Combiner group.
I totally agree with the Horrorcons, They are Headmaster Triple changers, so it would only be logical to have them in the Titans Return toyline, but the only thing we got was that small Titan Master Apeface.
Came back to this video to see who was still on the list after Power of the Primes. We got the Punch-Counterpunch. We're getting Ironhide (so probably Ratchet), Reflector, and Shockwave in the WFC: Siege. That makes me so happy that this list is partially taken care of. Me personally, I would love to see Apeface and Snapdragon, Scorponok, an updated Sunstreaker to go with Siege's Sunstreaker and Red Alert (The CW Sunstreaker was a horrendous excuse imo), Grapple, a voyager Blaster to go with Siege's Soundwave, and more seekers than just the big 3, like maybe Acid Storm, Sunstrom, Slipstream, and updated conehead trio.
The Battlechargers, Landcross, Punch/Counterpunch and oh yeah, Hopefully the next line after POTP can upgrade the micromasters as legion class sized fun.
What a difference three years makes. Literally every figure on this list has been made now (or has been announced) and they are pretty much all awesome. "War for Cybertron : Siege, Earthrise and Kingdom". Boom. Mic drop.
Didn't understand why Trypticon won the vote, it was always a boring toy really. Skorpy was more the Decepticon analogue to Ft. Max so it seems he would've been the better choice. I guess the Cybertron games had Tryps in people's minds and the Bay films ruined Skorpy.
I feel like it had more to do with the fact that Metroplex came out first, and Trypticon was Metroplex's rival in G1, so more people wanted Trypticon _before_ Scorponok, and expected Scorponok later.
Huffer, will get a toy in Kingdom. And most likely pipes will get a generations figure. Runabout and runamuck came out in earthrise. Ratbat, got a siege figure. Punch and counterpunch got a Earthrise figure. Snapdragon got a earthrise figure, and apeface got a siege figure. Scorponok got a Earthrise figure. Really enjoyed the video, even if I'm not a G1 guy. I'd like to see a video like "top ten post-G1 characters" or "Top 10 Post G1 characters who should be mainstays". You know, show the later series more love
now that kingdom has revealed huffer and pipes, every single one of these characters now has an official updated new G1 accurate figure. Even cliffjumper got a brand new figure that wasn't bumblebee until much later, hell it was hubcap before bumblebee, and even came with that big badass bazooka.

I agree, we need a new G1 Scorponok, and maybe with that we'll get a BlackZarak that we can actually play with instead of staying sealed in cardboard for 30+ years.

Toa Skyrax 669 I'm baffled that Fangry wasn't a remold of Twinferno/Doublecross. There's less involved in doing that than making it into Repugnus.
Speaking of Rewind, seems like a tablet would make a decent-ish stand-in for a camera. Would have been a bit cheap but Rewind into Reflector wouldn't be that hard to do... just change the chest and head and BOOM. Another easy repaint.

It'd be nice to see Tracks again, especially if they can keep the flying car gimmick. A redone Star Saber, maybe using the Fighbird mold (With Victory Leo as Granbird?)

Nice video! I'm just as - no pun intended - shocked as you about Shockwave not having a Classics figure outside of the Combiner Wars Legends Class figure. I've repurposed Energon Shockblast (the best alternative in terms of size and aesthetics) as G1 Shockwave on my Classics shelf, and while I'm happy with him, it would be great to finally get a Classics Shockwave.
Imagine a Power of the Primes Voyager Class Shockwave. Since POTP Voyagers are also combiner torsos, the idea of a Shockwave combiner is too cool to not be a thing!

I know he isn't a G1 character and he got a new toy recently but I think that Tidal Wave could use some more love, a new toy that isn't just a straight recolour with a new head would be absolutely amazing for the guy. Heck, I would even eat up a third party version of the guy.
Ratchet did have a Combiner Wars release, but only in the Takara Unite Warriors line as a recoloured First Aid where he replaced Smokescreen in the Sky Reign Combiner group.
I think Hasbro watched this video.

I totally agree with the Horrorcons, They are Headmaster Triple changers, so it would only be logical to have them in the Titans Return toyline, but the only thing we got was that small Titan Master Apeface.
I'm surprised they didn't use the Squeezeplay/Crashbash Titan Master pack - with the Clobber/Grimlock face - for Snapdragon.

Came back to this video to see who was still on the list after Power of the Primes. We got the Punch-Counterpunch. We're getting Ironhide (so probably Ratchet), Reflector, and Shockwave in the WFC: Siege. That makes me so happy that this list is partially taken care of.
Me personally, I would love to see Apeface and Snapdragon, Scorponok, an updated Sunstreaker to go with Siege's Sunstreaker and Red Alert (The CW Sunstreaker was a horrendous excuse imo), Grapple, a voyager Blaster to go with Siege's Soundwave, and more seekers than just the big 3, like maybe Acid Storm, Sunstrom, Slipstream, and updated conehead trio.

Didn't understand why Trypticon won the vote, it was always a boring toy really. Skorpy was more the Decepticon analogue to Ft. Max so it seems he would've been the better choice. I guess the Cybertron games had Tryps in people's minds and the Bay films ruined Skorpy.

I feel like it had more to do with the fact that Metroplex came out first, and Trypticon was Metroplex's rival in G1, so more people wanted Trypticon _before_ Scorponok, and expected Scorponok later.

now that kingdom has revealed huffer and pipes, every single one of these characters now has an official updated new G1 accurate figure. Even cliffjumper got a brand new figure that wasn't bumblebee until much later, hell it was hubcap before bumblebee, and even came with that big badass bazooka.
