Instead of picking the pokemon with the higher attack stat and doubling it with swagger, its probably better to pick the pokemon with the higher attack betwen the ones with Anger point (crabominable) or Justified (absol/terrakion if mega-gallade is not available) and maxing its attack with Frost breath/Storm throw or Beat up respectively, and then switching it for Pure power.
I think you're right. Focus Punch Crabominable at +6 vs level 1 A-Rattata with all the same standards I believe is more. I'm not doing the math and unfortunately, the calcs on showdown account for damage rollover, which both combos do so they don't actually show the full damage lol
@RobbyForShort I tried my hand at this, I ended up with the following team: Attacker (Crabominable) @ Choice Band Ability: Anger Point Tera Type: Fighting EVs: 252 Atk Adamant Nature - Close Combat Victim (Sneasel) @ Flower Sweet Ability: Inner Focus Level: 1 Tera Type: Stellar EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Hasty Nature IVs: 0 HP / 0 Atk / 0 Def - Helping Hand Set Up 1# (Meowscarada) Ability: Protean Tera Type: Grass EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Flower Trick Set up 2# (Medicham) Ability: Pure Power Tera Type: Fighting EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe Jolly Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Skill Swap It seemed to me you were using S/V Pokemon only, so I did as well. Sneasel uses helping hand on crabominable, Meowscarda hits crabominable with flower trick to get anger point, then Medicham swaps pure power to it, and crabominable hits sneasel to finish it off. Not sure how much damage it does, but it should be a lot
I'm genuinely curious weather spread moves make a difference? Dealing 4x super effective damage to two pokemon even if the base power of the move is reduced?
It would make a small difference. Moves that deal damage to both opponents receive a multiplier of x0.75, so, technically, my calculation in the first section is wrong because I didn't know Glacial Lance hit both opponents in Doubles.

The Critical Hit, boost from Helping Hand, and x2 Tera STAB are all included in the final number. Having both +6 Attack and -6 Defense is impossible in a scenario where we only have ONE TURN to deal damage.

these pokemon videos are giving polygon unraveled and i love it
Haven’t fully watched it yet, but I’m guessing chi-yu choice specs overheat in sun
Incin does damage to the actual player sanity everytime it hits the field tho
I used to only watch your Drag Race videos but have been watching your other ones and I love them!!!
Thank you so much!
Muy interesante el video, me agrada la narración y la edición es muy buena, mereces mas apoyo

Wouldn't getting hit by a damaging move make Crabominable lose focus and unable to hit Focus Punch? I do think you're onto something.

I tried reversal, it didn’t work how I wanted it to, so I just went to close combat

Would doing a triple battle and using helping and and swagger not increase the damage even more?
I'm focusing on Scarlet & Violet only.
You might be able to do more in a triple battle
I'm only focusing on Scarlet & Violet.

You forgot to include
1. Critical hit
2. Helping hand booster
3. +6 Attack on your pokemon
4. -6 defense on the opponent
5. Terastal boost
