Hi everyone,
welcome or welcome back to my channel. I unbox and review my personal watch collection and today it’s a special day regarding G-Shock unboxing!
I went to my G-Shock dealer today to check out the new Mudmaster GWG-B1000, as it took quite long for them to get this model in the store. Instantly the red version was my choice and decided on the spot I must buy it.
Then came a surprise from the back. They just got in the new Rangeman GPR-H1000 both in yellow and black. The yellow version was a bit too “loud” for me so I went with the safe choice in black. Im sure there will be more versions soon but for now this was the best choice.
Im extremely excited and happy with these two watches and I hope you can enjoy my first impressions with me…

I really hope they release a khaki green version of this watch. I have no idea what they were smoking when they decided to make yellow a OG release colour. That yellow is too much, it would be have more appropriate to make the yellow version a limited edition. If they don't release a khaki green version, then I hope they'll release a green resin strap for it, it would have that military look.

In the nineties a lot of their watches came in black or yellow, so yellow is not that surprising. Personally I like the look of those yellow watches, but I don't see me wear one, because it's too much in your face idd.
They should actually have the option of purchasing all the straps that come for this watch!
There is a khaki green version, a black and a red one. Since last year there is a promotional video from Casio U.K. in which you can see the green version 😊
I so love these watches, I just wish Casio also done them a bit smaller too, they do seem to be doing smaller watches though with the GST B600 which I’ve ordered from Japan to England, great video, subbed 👍🏻
These are the two models I’ve had my eye on lately! Great taste and they both look good on you. I just purchased the Analogue Frog blue and stainless steel on black which I was eyeing for a while prior to seeing these two. G shock for life.
Yeah they are both really amazing watches. I’ve been playing around with them the last few days and in combination with the casio app you can almost fully customize the modes of the watch. Really next level…

The GWG-B1000 is one of my favorite looking G-Shocks ever and i love that it’s smaller than the older generations. If it wasn’t $800 id have already purchased the red one you have. I actually do not like the look of the new Rangeman at all especially the yellow, I just picked up a GW-9400 instead.

I just want one feature. Local temperature monitoring. Any Garmin watches and Apples watches and even those cheaper bunch shows the temperature outside.
I agree. I don’t understand how Casio doesn’t make this feature happen. Especially as the temperature on the wrist never is the actual temperature. This has frustrated me since I started collecting Casio ABC watches since 20+ years ago

Thank you for the review. You still have some aspects to mention about the Rangeman, such as changing the watch face, utilizing the sleep monitor, and exploring all the typical smartwatch features available in the Casio app (like the activity tracker and heart sensor).

Nice collection, I have some of the watches. Recently I bought the GW-9500 Mudman. I also ha e the older gw9400 rangeman, they are very similar, even the model number suggest that this mudman is actually a rangeman inside. I like the new mudmasters, especially the model with the red strap. The new rangeman is just a repurposed gbd-h2000. The solar assist charging is just a gimmick. After the low battery indication appears, the health functions not working anymore. This is not a big problem, but the watch also shut down the more basic functions, like the barometer and compass. So if you don't have the charger for a longer period, like overlanding, or some expeditions, you end up with the most basic watch without a compass or altimeter. So the point is you can't rely on this watch, this one is for the urban jungle to find your way to the gym and back home. So I ordered the mudmaster gwg-b1000 featured in this video. 👍👍👍
Happy for you that you ordered the mudmaster gwg-b1000. In my opinion it’s the best premium g-shock you can currently get and its absolutely staked with features. I didn’t mention it in the video at the time because I didn’t know yet but you can pretty much customize all the modes with the casio app. Amazing feature
The latest Mudmaster GWG-B1000 is very attractive and premium look and feel watch. I got black and burgundy model.
New Rangeman GPR-H1000 I am still considering, but if so, definitely black version.
I have avoided Mudman 9500. That is beyond my understanding why they release it with that horrible lcd. If they choose STN-lcd instead that would be a whole different story.

this new mudmaster is gorgeous. I went for the green model, not knowing that there was red and rose gold. Anyone want to swap? The green is beautiful too but I have a green rangeman and this would be a new look for me. ❤

Love the new rangeman, it's no GPR B1000 though, Casio could give this new release rangeman more GPS capabilities, like true GPS with back track. The hardware is there, Casio could do this with a future update.. they'll probably come out of a new watch instead.
Most of the smartwatch tech is made by Polar, issue I’ve read is the blood/bio sensor isn’t very accurate probably due to not sitting firmly on the wrist . Great 1st attempt though I may wait for V2

I have been considering the red or black version, but I might prefer red one watching your video.
For 4:00, as per the official website, the side button guards are made up of carbon-reinforced plastic with biomass plastic.

Hi thanks for the comment. This has been asked countless times already 😄. Please check the comments section there I have already described it several times. But just in case, I believe they only deliver in EU.
the mudmaster is the toughest among its seems to be a forever watch you can depend...totally tough strength..durability and most of all...TOUGH SOLAR POWERED..plus the new rangeman...great one too SOLAR POWERED TOO....bothe are really great...compared to all the watches..speaking topughness...and durability and long wearing..

Yes sure. It’s from Friedrich23. You can google it and maybe it’s available in your region. It’s carbon optic and looks really cool. But it’s not a absolute premium quality in my opinion. The watch cushions are great though.

Just ordered the black GWG-B1000. It came in yesterday, but they accidentally sent me the red version, like you have. I must admit: it does look good and original, and it would make a nice diversification, because most of my other G-Shocks are black (except for my green GWG-1000, which looks so much better than the black version of that watch imo). Only one thing: I'm afraid that (wine) red doesn't match my clothing. I never wear (wine) red.

@@uhrenglueck2587 Can't disagree with that. And it's pretty original too. I'm going to see what the shop lets me know tomorrow. I really don't feel like doing a 2-3 weeks procedure to get the black one. After all I did not make a wrong order. Guessing I will decide then whether I will keep the red one or not. But once again: I don't really have anything to match with the red.
@@uhrenglueck2587 Fuck it. I'm keeping it. It's growing on me and it's not just another black watch in my collection. What I actually like most, compared to the black one, is that the metal around the buttons is in the same copper color as the bezel and not blank and dull metal. Just got the plastics off, after I put it in the open on my table for a few days, so I could look at it. 🙂
I'd like a G-Shock GWGB1000, but the price! What's similar but half the price? Style is more important than features.

My biggest concern with the GWG-B1000 is that i wear my gshocks on my right hand so the crown would be facing inwards towards my shoulder. Would this make it difficult to adjust timers and alarms during the day with my left hand? Can i just use the buttons instead?
I've never owned an analog mudmaster so i guess this isn't special to just the GWG-B1000, but i wish i could try one on to know if this crown facing inwards thing will be a big problem or not.
No, you would need to take the watch off to set timers etc. No way you can disform your left habd so far to the crown to make the adjustments 😂. But with this specific Mudmaster you could set everything with the casio app 👍

i use timers and stop watch very frequently at my job and i can’t really be fumbling with my phone all day at work.
I’ll just stay happy with my GW9400 in the meantime. i just really liked the idea of having an ana-digi model
@@uhrenglueck2587 you've saved me a lot of heart ache from ordering this watch and having to discover that hard truth myself. I use timers, alarms, and stopwatch so frequently at work that this practically kills the watch for me. I can't be fumbling with my phone all day either on the job :/

those are really togh watches...i have the GBD-H1000 and the GBD-H2000 really toguh solar...and charging is only once a week....and have dropped it by accident .and nothing happned not even a scratch....like a forever watch that you will have....
I have had the same B1000 same colour for a few months now it at to have a software update because the automatic atomic clock was not working at night but after downloading the update from the app it is working correctly now. I don’t like the new app i much prefer the old apps my watch has picked up a few scratches on the keeper and buttle also the strap keeper doesn’t stay in place not like the one on the BBG100 otherwise i like the watch the red colour looks better then the other ones which i have seen in the jewels shops
Hey. Thanks for your comments. I just discovered that I have the same issue with the time synchronization. How exactly did you update the software of the watch? I also don’t like the new app btw
@@uhrenglueck2587 The software update came in the the app after everyone complained to Casio if you open the app up and look at what software version you are using it may come up with the update l am using version 01.02 now. also do not let your watch connect to your Bluetooth for automatic time keeping and after a couple of days I think the radio signal will want to connect but put it in the window overnight and when you go into the menus the timer and data it picked the signal up should come in the window I also find when I have the mission log running it drains the watch battery luckily its solar powered I do run it on my BBG100 now because I don’t want to run the battery down I hope you understand everything and if starts working on your watch if not now you may after to get in touch with Casio customer help
The update came in the app after people complained to Casio my watch is running on software version 01.02 after downloading you should not let the watch connect to the automatic Bluetooth time keeping for a few days and the atomic time keeping should kick in you must put it in the window over night and the next day it should show you in the received section of the watch the time it picked up the signal I hope this helps you
@@eddiejones.redvees I bought first the black model, where Update popup in the App. So I processed it.
Then I bought also the other rose model, connected to the App, no any update pops, so i check the SW version, and 01.02 was already there.

Yes. That would be awesome if they would come out with a new one 🙏. I heard that they discontinued it because it wasn’t selling well…? I used to have one but sold it some years ago when I was reducing my collection
@@uhrenglueck2587 I read on G central that the newer Q model (4 sensors) is discontinued, but regular older model GWN1000 is still active.
How long does the battery last for the new Rangeman? Does it need recharged?
habe sie gekauft aber die Bedienung ist grottenschlecht aufgebaut. Wirkt wie primitives ms-dos in Zeiten wo wir Windows 11 benutzen. miserabel ist die App , ich hoffte damit ist 100% bedienung möglich, es ist leider nicht so. Konfusion Wochentage lassen sich nur Englisch anzeigen, auch T/M/Y lässt sich nicht auswählen . in allen anderen Bereichen ist die Uhr top Level. Hallo Casio, für das viele Geld erwarte ich ein entsprechendes Update

Not Solar so I won't buy just because of that
