Watch How to Use 3 Colors to Paint This Watercolor Landscape

In this demo, I’ll reveal how just 3 primary colors can unlock a world of stunning color combinations in watercolor painting! I set myself a fun challenge to create a quick and simple landscape using only three vibrant watercolors: - Alizarin Crimson - Ultramarine Blue - Lemon Yellow. With my trusty Holbein watercolors (not a sponsor!!!), I worked on 9 x 12 inch cold press 140# watercolor paper, using artist's tape to secure it to foam core. Although it buckled a bit, it dried beautifully flat! This exercise pushed me to master color mixing and keep my watercolor techniques simple and fluid. Huge thanks for joining me!
