Everyone seems to miss addressing the elephant in the room .... service after the purchase ... I went to purchase one to only find out the Genesis GV80 can ONLY be serviced by a Genesis dealer wether in warranty or out of warranty. I was told if you break down and there is no dealer near where you are the GV80 MUST be towed to the nearest dealer (too few servicing dealers to make this a viable choice)... at your expense. After the warranty you still have to go a Genesis dealer as they are the only ones that have the diagnostic tools ... I was told point blank .... no Hyundai dealer can service the GV80. So if you buy one from a dealer don't even think about traveling any distance, unless your destination has a Genesis dealer, with it as you could get stuck with no way to get service.

That’s one of the draws of Tesla sure they have price increases but the direct sales model is a refreshing change to those who don’t want to haggle and play the dealership sales game and always wonder how bad of a deal you got.
that might be the best interior i have ever seen, ever
See the nose left when Micah plants it. Nice.
Definitely the best looking in the class.
Great review guys and even greater car Genesis GV70 😍
The editing is smooth. Nice...
I dig the wheels. Would definitely get this if in the market for a compact SUV.
It looks a lot nicer than a Mercedes
I have the gv70 2.5T, and Im very frugal. I was making good money, and when I test drived it, it was stunning and I had to buy it. I originally thought I would regret the purchase because im so frugal, but im honestly really satisfied. I sometimes regret, but whenever I drive a mediocre car, I realized how spoiled I become.
Don't forget the 100k mile warranty 🙌🏽
The squirrel is BACK! My day is complete now!
Those drone shots and exterior beauty shots were magnificent! Sell them to Genesis for their ad b-roll!
Hey Thanks Paul! Glad you noticed!!!
Make Mike Danger a regular reviewer!! 😀
It’s in the works, stay tuned! A surprise is coming in the next couple weeks 🤗
@@yesmikedanger Danger, Mike Danger. Are you the next James Bond?
@@barrydunn682 🤣🤣🤣
Great demonstration. Thank-you!
Micah's review is so much nicer to watch
Looking forward to seeing it in person at the next car show I attend.
Simply Gorgeous! Nothing more needed to be said!
gv60 will have a face unlock, cant wait for it.
I think I’ve died and gone to Heaven. I plan on getting this in the summer of 2022 for my second vehicle.
Great review….and LOVE the soundtrack used here….
Doesn’t it just make you wanna film stuff?!?
@@yesmikedanger Hell yes. Micah's music is a vibe.
@micah awesome video as always.
whats the music you chose to play in this video i really like it a lot.
The drone footages are great! Where were they shot?
No painted bumper to scratch up getting stuff in and out of the back! Now that I like.
A little Porsche 928 in the rear, looks cool
Ready to order mine!!
Did you already ? Which engine size ?
They not lieing
Gv70 is a top tier vehicle it's beautiful
Not a big fan of Genesis brand but gv70 at least I can say it's the best in the segment.
For real the squirrel hasn't been around in forever.... Micah he needs to make an appearance every week, or at least the times you do the review.
Anyways you can see why it's the motortrend suv of the year, good job Genesis, it's a gorgeous ride
Amazing looking vehicle 👍
Selling my genesis coupe in to upgrade to this beautiful thing 🔥
Good Review, Entertaining! Liked the showcasing shots of the 2022 Genesis GV70. What a car! Photogenic! Hey, Kelly Blue Book: want to park one of these in my driveway, with the keys? I'd say Yes!
I have just bought a GV70 2.2 Diesel.
My Hyundai dealer is able to service it.
Sadly the Diesel engine is not offered in North America.
This is a great looking SUV, only suggestion would be to tuck that rear wiper blade at the top of the windo so the design looks a little more cohesive
The Hyundai Research Institute staff said it interferes with the view of the window.
This is one sexy looking vehicle. Sad that majority would still go for Lexus NX.
And Micah does the review a justice as usual.
Yeah. Idk why the nx should even exist now that the gv70 is there. The gv70 has ended the new nx
Nah, I'd rather get the KIA Stinger GT2.
@@naveenthemachine People still think of Lexus as more of a luxury brand compared to Genesis I think. Hyundai made a very poor decision to launch 1st genesis vehicles with Hyundai batch on them, people still haven't forget that.
@@naveenthemachine The way the Telluride has "ended" the new Highlander, and the way the Accord has "ended" the Camry...oh wait...
@@Mr21scott sure the Camry and Highlander outsell both. I chose the Camry over an accord because of its silky smooth 3.5L v6. If the Camry had a turbo I would have gotten an accord or the k5 or sonata if shopping brand new; used however, I’d get a v6 accord or used v6 Camry
The telluride has beaten the Highlander in comparison over and over and it’s harder to get a telluride or palisade than it is a Highlander even though Highlander outsells the telluride palisade just like how it’s hard to find a gv80 over an RX since gv80 demand is super high
Great car reviewed by two cool guys!
Oozes luxury. Inside and out. I love that Genesis uses a dedicated rear wheel drive platform to better compete with BMW and Mercedes-Benz instead of sharing a front wheel drive platform from Hyundai.
I'm driving in a class lower. 2017 Rav4. Man, I am so tempted.
Great review!😸
Thanks Ryan!
Did y'all think we'd be picking Hyundai over Audi some day? Good job Hyundai!
Genesis* over Audi. Or say Hyundai vs VW. Compare apples to apples.
@@geepark9075 potato, potatoe. 🤷 The thing is.. Hyundai built that. And it's great 👍
As an owner of previous Audi’s I wouldn’t own one outside of warranty they’re pricey to repair I think they’re meant to be leased.
Luvs it 💜
Great job, guys!
Mike danger getting some camera sunshine no longer just the camera guy
Mike is super talented. We're happy to let him shine.
🤗
Hey Micah! Thank you for the Bonus Seconds of views.
The rear quarter window is growing on me! Saw A white one irl. Very sporty. Love those wheels too.
Right on Mike Danger! Great segment and outstanding videography. The drone shots and soundtrack for this piece are stellar.
Hey hey!!! Thanks so much, yo! Glad you enjoyed it. We enjoyed shootin it!
Gv70 is a good car. Well done Genesis.
Overall it's a great looker but somewhere a Mazda wants its grille back
I'm torn between the Adriatic Blue exterior with the Sevilla Red interior or the Mauna Red exterior with the Ultramarine Blue interior.
Woooow this is so beautiful inside out
No one, not even sales person at a dealership know that the Genesis has a nice feature. If you press and hold the button at the door handel you can close the opened sunroof and all opened windows of the car. Great if kids leave windows open or partially open.
Is the vehicle available at dealership, what with all the chip shortage and additional dealer markup?!
Which color is shown in this review? Is it Savile Silver or Himalayan Gray?
The Audi virtual cockpit is a win for me. What's the GV70 got?
…PIZZAZZ!!!
@@yesmikedanger PIZZAZZ is hard to argue with. ;)
Price.
@@hectornadal715 If price were the determining factor, I'd get an Escort.
Power.
Great Review
I love that background music.
Want this car so much!
How about adding golf clubs to help measure storage/trunk space? 😅
Hey all.. The GV70 should be considered based on actual reliability over time, That said i really like the Audi as I have always said, but I am not sure of the long term aspects?
As a jaded Audi/Porsche owner who fell for the looks, but felt the crushing pain of maintenance and repairs I won’t be returning.
10 years warranty?
I wish you could get it in the Siberian Ice color. Saw a G70 yesterday in Siberian Ice and it was beautiful.
It’s fucking beautiful.
