    The Example you have given here is of 2 byte operation where the memory read is also done! You have here shown the diagram for 1 byte operation!

    The values of S0 and S1 will change for memory read and memory write...
    For memory read : S0 = 0, S1 = 1
    For memory write: S0 = 1, S1 = 0
