Independence Eve Railfanning the Montauk Branch with

Great afternoon of train watching! Got to catch the Cannonball with 516 leading and its signature rear horn show as well as "Spaghetti" engineer make rounds between Babylon and Patchogue. Also met Long Island and Montauk Branch native ‪@3985uprr‬ who gave me a lot of information about the branch and LIRR rolling stock. First time catching the cannonball since 2022.
Correction: 12:40 80 originates at Long Island City, not Babylon
