Very clever (or cleaver. Lol). I never would have dreamed that up!! Well done. And btw that laugh was positively sinister. Hope your Halloween was fun and thank you for this video. Made me laugh too. Have a good one Fred
@@robertharer6831 Glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting that the one rock looked like teeth. That's what sparked the idea. I gave you recognition in text form when I started at the saw, in case you missed it. Thanks again.
@@independencestnola Glad you liked it. I did a short form vid also but 1 minute is the blink of an eye so I did it both ways for those that want just a bit more...or prefer horizontal viewing. Thanks
Great clip both my daughter and grandson watched with me - grandson only 7 and just into rocks this year and both loved as i did the agates in the pumpkin too !
@@JnVrockhounding It's out there for a rockhounding and lapidary channel but I am who I am, and I like to have fun. I'll assume not everyone will appreciate it but I can't please everyone all the time, if that's the case. Glad you enjoyed...I knew some of my people would 😀.
Now this is epic I love this video a format so much and might I ask what is the song name because I’m totally digging it :) good job this is my favorite video you’ve made so far thanks for the awesome watch
@@Bongus. No way... your favorite so far? I would never have thought this would be anyone's favorite as a rockhounding and lapidary channel. Wouldn't seem like it would align with most people's expectations but I like to keep em' guessing...and having fun. The song is just an asset from the editing program I use. You can email me at just1morerock@gmail.com and I think I can send it to you in a file. 🤔
Funny video Fred. I have a question on your polishing setup. Are you using a regular angle grinder or a slow speed one? Do you have any issues with it shorting out from getting wet?
@@RWOxner Thanks. I'm using a variable speed angle grinder. I forget the rpm range but it gets too fast to manage so I'm working within the first 3 speeds only, mostly first 2. This was a discounted open box Harbor Freight deal for $8. No instructions, ho handle. Yes, shorting out has recently started happening. What I've been doing lately, when not recording, is I place a shoe box sized tote lid over the body so the water runs off forward. I'm so low budget but I'm working on a plan to turn it into a more traditional flat lap so I'll do a video of that. It will be made of inexpensive every day stuff from any basic hardware store so many people can be capable of doing it themselves if they choose.
