One part of your video is incorrect. The ammo can be shipped together in the same container. It just can’t be inside the magazines and they must be in their manufacturer’s carton.

There's two sets of rules that you have to know about tho. The rules from TSA for the airlines, and then the laws of the state that you will be traveling into or through. They're not always the same. And if you violate the latter, and it's a state like NY, NJ or MASS, you could end up losing 10 years of your life, and your gun rights for the rest of your life. And NY will BRAG about doing it to you. Just a warning.

I am talking about how I do it. How to avoid all problems and get through the easiest. Just separate everything and nothing to worry about!

Maybe I have done it wrong but every time I have flown I just go to the counter and declare. Gun empty and no mag but I have never taken my ammo out of the mag. They just have me fill out the slip and put it on my case.. just recently while leaving Cali they had me wait for 15 min before I could go through security.

So if someone has flown with their pistol, empty mags and ammo in box all within the lock box, it's not okay? But reachable ammo under clothes is? Seems like locking it all up is the way to go?

TSA has rules that you can look up in regards to what they require in order to allow the weapon on the plane. But you also have to know the laws and rules of the state that you are traveling into. Some states you may get through the airport just fine, but be in violation of travel laws as soon as you put it in a vehicle. It's very important to know what you're getting into.

Here's where you HAVE to look up the state laws of where you are going to travel to. And the best advice I can give, is DO NOT take a hand gun into an airport in New York, or New Jersey. Whether it comes off the plane, or it comes in through the doors, regardless of what their laws say on paper they will FIND even the SMALLEST excuse to arrest you on the spot. And that's a 10 year felony charge that will lose your gun rights for the rest of your life.
And DO NOT bring defensive ammo into New Jersey. Not if it's Hollow Points. Hollow points are ILLEGAL in the state, outside of the home. They don't play. They find that in your bags, they will arrest you. And some of the things that New Jersey considers a "Firearm" (ANYthing capable of expelling a solid projectile) will shock the hell out of you.
IN NJ, you can go to prison for "manufacturing a firearm" by making a _slingshot_ That's no BS. A GD'D _slingshot_ !

I don't think NY will allow other state issued carry license holders bring a pistol to NY ... if anyone knows please respond back

Before going to NY (And NJ for that matter) you need to look up their state laws in regards to what they consider "Firearms". I'm telling you right now... regardless of what their state laws state on paper... *you are putting the next 10 years of your life in jeopardy* if you take a firearm into their airports.
Both of those states BRAG about how many people they arrest on illegally bringing firearms into the airports.

NYC didn’t honor any out of state gun license.

Carry probably won't give you reciprocity to carry but you're allowed to bring that with you
