Thanks :) I'll definitely make a tutorial on this if enough people will be interested. Edit: gosh this escalated quickly! Alrighty stay tuned for the color tutorial :D
you're insanely talented - i'm sure you know that. i'm a new creator and it's tutorials like these that make the biggest difference in my growth trajectory. thank you.
Hey! I'm a young youtuber and filmmaker and I've just discovered your youtube channel. I really want to say thank you, thank you for your work and contribution, I followed you everywhere because I want to keep seeing your content and your tips. I'm very inspired rn !! All my support
That ending is the biggest plot twist of 2023 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 genuinely surprised, the background felt very natural. Like other people are saying, your color grading is excellent. The pacing of your videos keeps me engage and I never feel like skipping through or leaving the video. Makes sense since you’re a commercial filmmaker!
Loved this Nur! I am definitely one to skip storyboarding and find excuses. Some great examples you mentioned, I look forward to trying these out. Also, love this 16mm look, keeps everything visually interesting. Congratulations on the huge effort you put into your videos :)
First, just want to say, fantastic channel! As someone who always had a passion for film, I find myself stuck as I graduated with a computer science degree. It's inspiring to your success with a semi-unrelated degree. Once your created a portfolio to show, how did you get about finding work? Are there any resources you would recommend for learning about this?
finding work as a director is a very complicated matter. but it's about who knows you. getting yourself out there and making sure that producers know you and your work is key.
Thanks for letting us know bout that NYC background. I really felt something was a little off. I think if your shadow had a little blue fill I would have completely believed that it was a window. I am no expert. I appreciate your honesty really. 👌👌
I'm a big fan of creating storyboards using photos especially using your phone and a directors viewfinder app (like Artemis, Cadrage). It makes communicating ideas so much easier, especially since I'm a terrible drawer 😂
Script to board is what's often lacking in these videos...or the connection between them. 1. Do you first have to break the screenplay into shots, before adding a story board? I mean is there a order of sequence to doing this? 2. What if your screenplay isn't to the 'shot' parts yet? Can you still story board without that process complete? 3. Do you have to label or match each board with a particular scene in the script? As in tagging? How closely does the storyboard have to match the script? I'm not so much interested in the art or drawing part as I am in the organization part, so that someone can match what's on the board with a specific scene in the script...to me, that's what people need to know, especially those trying to pitch their screenplay to a studio.
Lol I am gonna probably steal your trick with a TV background. And about the storyboards I was still pushing myself to draw them, but as a 3D artist i just resigned and figured out that I can animate a previz shot faster then to draw the storyboards! :D
Hey 😁really random question but what is this cropped out overlay you have on this video called, It’s like a window into my screen almost, very cool, is it a film overlay? Also, ur content is incredible helpful thank you for your work, please make more!!
But to me, drawing is the least aspect you need to know about storyboarding...what you need to know is tagging the board with the script...that's what I need to know. What I need to know, and haven't seen yet, is how to match every scene in story board with the script it's intended for, or line, or scene.
Drop me a line & I’ll open your world to a whole new way to storyboard like a pro (this is one Dir to another) - … trust me it’s NOT the nightmare you think it is.
The whole video was useful but the comment on consuming pointless content at the end was the most valuable part.
GOD THE COLOR GRADE IS SO GOOD ON THIS??? can we get a tutorial? I also really love the 16 mm film matte sm
Thanks :) I'll definitely make a tutorial on this if enough people will be interested.

Cadrage is awesome indeed. Plus it helps to dial in the exact sensor size / focal length combo.
@@nurniazfilms Yeah for sure, such a handy feature
Just found your channel, great work!
Awesome, thank you!
Like the background music.

Good word!
This is amazing! What iPad app do you use to storyboard?
thanks! it's called pro-create
You reminded me of Kronk in that intro especially that laugh😂
Someone made a storyboard for this video.

Thanks! It's called 16mm film matte.
Hey Nur Niaz! Just wanna know what film emulation are you using for this video? It looks great!
Niaz good advices!
Waiting you with master class in Kiizspace (Shymkent)
Here is a lot of young prospective filmmakers !
Haha 🙏 Let's see if we can work it out 🙏
I am looking for a free software that can Change the Order / insert new frames between others and rearrange the other frames accordingly. Ideas?
I think that's the way to go now...with AI hitting the scene, I'm sure by now you've found one.
video about how to find clients🙏🙏
3:53 it's "wide" guys not white ahmmm sorryy my brain fucked up lmao
Sorry it’s my accent lol
👏👏👏
can i use pictures if I don't want to draw
sure. use anything you want. point is to get it understood by others.
You get a thumbs up for optimism, even though you’re pushing an AI-powered replacement for a professional storyboarder (me).
This Tutorial Is The Red Pill If You Understand It You'll WakeUp👌❤
tbh you're really good at drawing hhh
Thanks! I try 🙏

iPad = Previz Pro (Storyboard App)
I actually thought it was a chroma key 😅Nice.
What if I don’t have any friends to gather 😅 kidding, great tips thanks!
That's the reality of being a filmmaker lol
Thanks for the video. A bit shocked with the price of the storyboard template though.
You ever use AI to create the images?
Not really yet. But I see myself using it in the future for sure.
@@nurniazfilms same! Excited for that day
