Kostya in his prime was one of the best fighters to watch, his controlled aggression was outstanding to watch as he waited took his time to analyse his opponents and then send them to the canvas wondering what the hell hit them 😄

I reckonwas as cool as ice in his prime and at his best was Kostya. No one handled press conference as good as Kostya. As every man is, Tim is his own man, but he just happens to son of a legend. Nothing has been given to Tim on a platter his put in the hard yards and earned to where his career is and that Zeraffa has realised he had no chance obviously. Got to meet Kostya at the Stardust Hotel, Cabramatta. And everything I wanted signed I got signed and it didn't cost me a cent.

@@captainspalding69er I remember years ago Kosta Tszyu came to our gymnasium to show us technical art of training and how to apply it to boxing. I was amazed in 1/2 hour of skipping he did not raise a heart beat and only managed a small percentage of perspiration. The guy was super conditioned and had endurance for 50 round fight for 3 minutes a round. I tell you what he had the fierceness in his appearance and had it tattooed in his fasciae. I tell you what that’s the true measure of a man. Courage, will to fight and knowing when your adversary is unwilling to defend or even stand up. Kosta was that type of man. A man who grew up in the tough climate of Russia and to why the men that come from that area have the balls not to be messed with.

Tim is a very inteligent young man, articulated, mature for his age, very well balanced. The reasons he give for not having his dad there when he is boxing, are not only logical but also brilliantly expressed. He understand his father not being able to control himself and trying to shout some advice. But also he knows very well that is not going to help at all... Therefore, for the boxer, who can distinguish his father voice from another thousands voices, it becomes both irritating and distracting... All that explained in a few sentences, with full undertanding of his dad, and also, a good sense of humour... A very clever boy: in the boxing world, full of brave but not so intelligent people, that is a huge advantage for Tim... I wish hi the best!

You are blessed young man to have that unconditional love from your pop and him being an absolute legend himself in your corner cheering you on with no other ulterior motives than pure adoration and unconditional love. Hold on to that coz there are lots of snakes in the game of boxing. I am like that with my boys regardless how big tough and ugly they are ! That’s what we do! It's understandable that Tim does not want his credibility to be tied to his dad Kostya. Not all sons would be that way, but that's Tim's personality. Also, their relationship was complicated when Tim was growing up.

Tim is a very intelligent person.he loves his father to be around for psychological support.but at the same time he has reasons to say no for such things as to give rise to his ultimate goal and that is to fend-off what is called distractions and invariables that is an impediment to his goal achieving target.cheers...m

That doesn’t mean there was no contact between them you tool. Do you have family that live across the world? If so, do you see them multiple times a year? He may be a legend but he’s not filthy rich that he can jump on a plane whenever he likes. Your comment could go both ways. A son could go and visit his father. He’s not a child anymore

@@hoptoit5910 I agree Hop. I have 3 sons, my wife shot through when my eldest boy turned 18, the other are 14 and 12 now. My ex wife makes my life a living hell when all I want is time and space to try to raise my youngest two like my firstborn whom has just been accepted into Qantas pilot academy and I’m very proud. I want the best for the young ones but they are already showing signs of rebellion. What can I do but love them. I’ll be there for them when they need me. And they will.

So it's in your genes to be a boxer your clearly his son, and well done so fare in your fledgling career. What you call tuff your dad would call a walk in the park...
You got along way to go boy before you can stand next to your father and compare achievements on the world stage.
The whole of Australia would stop to watch your dad fight back in the day.
Don't be sore that your dad chose to go back to Russia over this country. If he could of took you with him l am sure he would of. You have had a blessed life growing up thanks to your father's blood sweat and pain. You were spared the hard and tuff road your dad was on before he got to Australia for a well deserved Fortune and fame. Grow up boy and respect the blessing that is your dad and appreciate when he is around. He is the power behind you and the only reason why you are a boxer now. Or drop the family name and see how you go ?
Acknowledge your father don't ever treat him like a outcast.
You will not have the massive fan base your dad had if you continue to be disrespectful like this.
