one thing about Isis I think every artist should understand: they didn't "evolve" over time into a totally different creature, taking all kinds of bizarre twists along the way. when you listen to their albums in order, you see a gradual progression away from extreme chug metal (although even Mosquito Control is much more than just brainless chug metal) toward epic post-rock melodies. but most importantly, they never lost the extreme chug element: you can still hear old Isis in new Isis.
yo aron! love isis and love ur vocals man, def have a killer voice on some of the heavier stuff. hauntingly good! i love the sound of isis, very different and original. but i agree with much of what u said bro however, many bands who arent political when they start out end up become political at some point in their career... so never say never and never knock any possibilities out anything can and will happen keep doing what ur doing bro, love it!
So did we. Best song i've ever heard.
Post-metal aesthetics is my favorite music concept.
