Ted..I’ve been watching since I was 12 years old! I’m now fixing to turn 24 and I can say you are still my favorite RUclipsr. Thanks for all the years of entertainment.
Ted my man, always a pleasure. I actually came on to comment that you should give the little guy a GoPro and having practice making some content. I think Levi's hold under has a nice ring to it. We love you my man
This is the rifle that we've been wanting Crosman to make for many years now... an affordable adult-oriented multi-pump using their 22xx/13xx technology base. A little over a year ago I finally decided to make my own based on a 1322 with OEM skeleton stock, 2260 barrel, and a pump from a 2100. I was almost done making it (takes some fabrication, especially to mate the 2100 pump to the 1322 tube) when Crosman finally announced and then released the 362 . It uses almost exactly the same parts I picked for my hybrid build. For not much more $ than the parts I bought, and with a much nicer stock, it was a no brainer to just go buy it rather than finish my hybrid build. Ted, thank you for the great review and I also wanted to add a couple more things. The synthetic stock feels much more substantial to me than what you'd get on a typical "kid's gun". It also fits my adult hands better than either my 2100 or 13xx Crosmans. The other thing is that all of the aftermarket parts for the 22xx/13xx series should bolt right on so there's a whole world of customization you can do to these rifles. Breeches, barrels, triggers, sights, valves, pretty much anything you want has been available in the aftermarket for decades now.
Thanks for the Great Video. There is something about Ted’s HoldOver videos that are far above the majority of videos out there today. I love the technical information seasoned with humor and real life. Best to you Ted and I look forward to the next one.
Wow, what a trip down memory lane. One of my first pellet guns was that gun in a 20 caliber. I think I can honestly say I took more rabbits with that gun than any other powder burner. It's great to see you. It's absolutely wonderful to see Levi shooting with you. You do realize the lotus review blew up the internet again it's great to have you back friend keep doing what you love doing. Michigan are Gunner
I remember the first video I’ve watched was the slow motion pigeons and after that became a fan bought my first pcp and I looooove hunt with them you changed the way I hunt and my life brother man
love the fact you are doing some videos on air rifles like these and always love your videos so keep making them ted! plus I always love your story telling when shooting the bad critters lol!
I like this gun so much I bought 4 including the anniversary. Greatest bang for your buck pumper, the stock peeps or Williams Peeps work a charm on it.
bonus of the variable pump is if you want to shoot pop cans in the backyard, 1 or 2 pumps is a blast. Can't do that with a springer where it's 100% power all the time, and depending on the size of the backyard/houses around, full power from a springer may be a bit much as far as safety is concerned. Also, I installed the steel breech kit on my 362 and it's been very solid with a 3-9 scope up top. I've killed probably 50 doves/sparrows with this set up from 15-20 yards and it's been a hoot. Keep up the good work Ted, I've been watching your stuff for YEARS now, and it's only gotten better!
I'm thrilled that Crosman built this, and I want one, love multipump airguns. But for $400, you can have a stormrider and air venturi pump, with money left over. Which for me, has been a revelation, but I only went there after I had to send back my beautiful Seneca Dragonfly, for not holding air overnight. It's WAY less work to shoot the stormrider than any of my multipump guns. Love the careful bird ID that you do. Lifelong birder but love to shewt starlings, house sparrows ... There's nothing better.
I took delivery of my Crosman Anniversary today and I was happy to get a low production number 43 of 2,023. Tomorrow I will strive to shoot a tin of pellets.
I got a Norica Omnia ZRS to try out…and it really does have zero recoil. So if you’re looking for a recoil-less springer to try out, you can ask Pyramyd to send you one. A little bit of recoil never hurt though (gets the young ones used to .22LR), and I’d take a used R9 (HW95) over a ZRS any day. Awesome vid!
Fienwerkbau (spelling?) Anyway they brought an opposing spring/piston "recoiless" air rifle out in the 70s that I fired as a kid and remember it was nothing like my BSA airsporter that used to break fkin scopes bi annually. I think they brought a target pistol out too .
@@thelonerizla1 What about the Feinwerkbau? Solid rifles too, but usually not to everyone’s taste. I was referring to the Weihrauch HW95. The Diana 54 air king also has the recoil-less technology, but it’s a big rifle and requires a bit of effort to cock.
Tedd that is ALSOME to teach your son on 1 how to hunt, the respect of using a gun ,understanding what a gun is the way to handle a gun AN THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS SPENDING TIME WITH HIM. Me an my wife were not blessed with children but was bless with being ABLE to have parents in my neighborhood to allow me to take there Son an Daughters out to teach them about guns an hunting . I would like to share a moment with u. (Father's day I was sitting on my porch Enjoying the day Wen my GREAT neighbors came an gave me a FATHERS DAY CARD for what I said before in was not bless with children gave me a card signed my parents an kids That is was the FATHER OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD 😢 brought tears to my eyes . This was done cuz of YOU u got me interested in air guns an I bought my first expensive one Wildcat. THANK U AN MANY BLESSING TO U AN YOUR FAMILY.
Excellent having Levi involved in this evaluation, was really good having the input of a person of the age that might be using the gun. Enjoyed his enthusiasm, too.😊
I have one of the synthetic models, upgraded steel breeches, and the lpa sight. They’re pretty darn accurate for what they are (especially with the Crosman 19gr…try those😉)
Where Iam from pumper are a lot more popular than springer, here the most used model are the Japanese sharp Innova, sharp ace and sharp tiger (this model is I am not sure is it Japanese design or my country's adaptation of the sharp design). I used both sharp Innova and tiger both are awesome gun to shoot, it shoots about 600-800 fps 177 depends on pump number, accuracy wise I change my barrel and it put out a water bottle cap sized hole from 30m with rws superdome 8,6 grain pellet, (though I used a much heavyer pellet for hunting) more than good enough to take down a bird and rats. The Japanese pumper doesn't need to be cocked before pumping because of different system.
Ohhhh no Ted you have to pass the baton to the younger generation thats awesome. I thank you because you brought me into air gunning and eventually helped me choose my deer gun thanks for your content 😢
I recently bought an umarex origin and while it's not the best I think it's great for the money. It's kinda fun watching all the sparrows leave after they hear the first shot.
Thank you for the video. They are always nice to see. How many kids at that age can afford 120 - 350 + 70 for a scope. The one that's 120 you have to also purchase an additional item + the 70 scope cost. Stuff was 60 max at that age in the mid, late 80's. Maybe I'm out of touch but for most Americans I think it's too much for a first air rifle for a child or at least for them to be looking at. For us that fall into the 2-15% then, i think most of us, wouldn't even think about purchasing this for our kids, because it's a waste of money when there are Air Arms, FX or Daystate air rifles out there. I'm sorry but there is a disconnect in my mind with this. I see you're trying to get to the correct spirit but Wal-Mart still has those for 60 dollars. They suck now just like they did in the mid to late 80's. :) Peace and God Bless.
Well you have to consider inflation as well. Phones are 1000-1500 these days, brand clothing for uncontrollable kids can run households into the ground. 400 for an air rifle makes a lot more sense.
Why would a kid be buying one of these? It would be the parent, and given how rewarding outdoor shooting family events are, the money SAVED not buying disposable tech or The Newest Video Game, and the simple comfort of a family event, the purchase of an MSP makes a lot of sense. All this coming from a guy who still shoots his ancient 760 (has a MK4-177 rifled barrel), Blue Streak, 392PA, and 2100 despite having both Chinese and Korean big-bores and a pair of EdGuns. Fancy airguns may be able to reach out further with more accuracy, but the sheer joy of plinking (and pesting) at closer ranges using an MSP is unrivaled. @Ted- I know this sounds strange, but I've tried some NSA slugs for giggles in my 392PA and although no more accurate at shorter ranges, as distanced opened up, I found them far more predictable at range; by 45 yards they were on par with JSB domes, and at 60, the NSAs were outperforming any pellets.
I remember my red rider was my first BB gun and then a Daisy pump. Shotgun style was my second.. and then the old Smith & Wesson 45.17 pellet gun from the 1970s
My 392 BS has a brass barrel not steel but oddly the most accurate in it are Crosman 14.3 grain pointed pellets. 8 pumps @25 yards 5 inside a penny w/a 4X32 fixed scope on bags. Also loves Daisy HPs 15.4 grain to 30-40 yards a quarter size group. Probably different barrels completely.?
OK I just found your videos and I was wondering where did you find the wheel on your scope you use use for range I seen it in some of your older videos
@TedsHoldOver I love your videos! Definitely some nice shooting. I do have a question if you can answer it, I was wondering how or if I could offer pest control services like this in my area for farmers? How do I get in contact with people and get my services out there? I've been in the airgun hobby for about 2 years now and I would like to be able to put it to good use and make a small bit of side money in the process. Edit: answers from everyone are welcome. Ill take any advice
Hey Ted, I’ve been watching your videos for years. I would like to finally request a hunting video with the new Well new-ish gamo swarm magnum GEN three.
Thanks for all the information Ted! Yes I'm surprised the Crosman pellets did not do well out of this Crosman air rifle! I could get a couple good 1.5" groups at 25 yards and then a bunch of groups with 2 or 3 flyers using the CUHD 19g. I've read people are getting better groups with 6 or 7 pumps instead of 8-10 oops. Thanks for confirming. Change of plans re-test with less pumps. How much modding did you do to the synthetic C362 before you switched to the Anniversary Edition? Way to build memories with your son! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I have an mrod for myself and sometimes I let my son shoot it. He is quite good with it when the gun is well supported but way too heavy for him to shoot unsupported. What's the weight of the 362 ?

50 feet is all we were doing with the 22lr NRA based program we were running.
What distance should we aim for for paper punching rifle instruction?
25 Yards is a good learning distance
25 yards is a good distance. I do my personal range practice at 25 yards.
But NRA Winchester Small Bore open sights targets are for 50 ft

From owning wood stock guns I love them a lot but I think for durability I would go with the synthetic stock bc I always bash my guns around
Ted, what's the best multi-pump for an adult, in your opinion? Accuracy + quality of build (difficulty of pumping is of no importance). Tyia.
Sounds like a tack driver for sparrows!!!
Nice.
Quagmire arm! ;-)😅

You couldnt find a higher mount? Looks a bit close to the barrel...
Why such high scope mounts, Ted?
I love it and keep looking at them online, but I'm no fan of fiber optic sights and have decided I just can't live with it.
Sir Fx impact M3 and Vulcan 3 which one best
Awesome 👌
Why is the scope mounted so high?
can you try niksan elf s airgun
This looks like a cool air rifle. Do you recomme d this for squirrel and pesting?
Keep it under 40 yards and it'll do you just fine
My gun loves heavy pellets
